Hi Hans! Appreciate that nice comment 🙏🏻❤️ The Philippines has been amazing so far. Everywhere you look is more beautiful than the last. We are so excited to explore even more of you wonderful country. Thank you for the warm welcome and for being a part of the DBVfam! 🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️
It may not be the best waterfall but you found it you counquered it i have nothing else to say but praises for your determination. As a traveller its always the journey. Salamat po.
You guys actually a perfect couple by showing us your tours. The part I like is you guys care about ppl you met on the way and not like others who 9nly care about their own interests... Thanks
Possibly you're the first foreign bloggers who found it.....It is a very remote area of an island..... By the way I appreciate your effort and persistent to look for this spot for the sake of a better content of your blog..... Keep it up lovely couple!......
Hi Zernan! We still can’t believe we found it after all that trouble. It wasnt the biggest or most beautiful waterfall, but it was the adventures finding it that made it all worth it. Thanks for watching and welcome to the channel! 🙏🏻❤️
Hello, my name is Gabriel and my wife and I live in San Diego, california. We have a home in manila and in the province of Nuevo ecija. I will be coming back in manila come August 2018. You guys should visit northern Luzon. It will be rainy season around August. Much cooler that time of the year and my house has three bedroom, you two are most welcome to stay during your visit.. Let me know.
Hi Gabriel! Wow, that’s such an amazing and kind offer. We may just take you up on that 😉 We have so many places on our Philippines must see list. It’s getting quite long haha 😂 Thanks so much 🙏🏻
I subscribed because of this video. I think it's a win-win promoting tourism in unexplored areas of the Philippines and showcasing how great Filipino culture and characters generally speaking. I hope you get more subscribers by showing a balanced and informative vlog. More power to both of you. Keep rockin and exploring Philippines gems..
Hello!! 👋🏻 Thank you for watching and we are really glad to hear you enjoyed it. We have many other Philippines videos so be sure to check those out too 😊 Welcome to the channel and the DBVfam! 🙏🏻❤️
My amazing fav couple did it again. You really are a trailblazer. No bloggers that I follow have been there. Your sheer determination proves rewarding in the end, enjoying our simple rural life and culture.. Godspeed and a blissful union be yours forever.
Hey Patrick! 😊 It wasn’t the most epic of waterfalls, and we were expecting something a little bigger. But, the adventure there and meeting all the locals is what really made this day the best. Can’t wait to share the second half of this day with you in the next video 👍🏻
Patrick Bandelaria thank you so much for this sweet comment ❤️ it’s cool to know that nobody else has been there, but it was an incredible adventure either way. All my best wishes to you!
ahhhh good to know my hometown is now being feature everywhere on RU-vid =) , I spent my one week vacation just last week in Tablas. Fiesta of Looc was great also
Hi Roderic! Philippines videos are all over the place. Hmmm, I wonder why? 🤔 Probably because it’s one of the most beautiful places on earth and everyone is so kind 😊 We actually ran into a fiesta or sorts during our excursion in Romblon.
WOW!!That's a REAL ADVENTURE!Daring to go places you never know how to go .. But then Filipinos willing to help you to show you the path to the waterfalls. More great adventure! It's more fun in the Philippines!!More adventures and will be a great vlog!
Thank you Bing! It was definitely an adventure. A fun one at that 😉 Thanks to the locals who were so kind and extremely helpful, otherwise we would’ve never found it. The video of the second half of the day is coming soon! Thanks for watching 🙏🏻❤️
WOW!Yes welcome! You are both so adventurous and makes us also thrill to watch.Guessing what will happen next.God bless your travels. It's good STACIA is always on the GO!
Thank you!! We are so happy to be able to experience this amazing place... what an incredible country you are from. We have plans to be back in a few months and explore more! We hope to talk to you again in another video. Cheers
I commend you guys for not giving up and you literally did it for the vlog, haha! I guess the color of the water of that hidden waterfall made it all worth it! I'm not sure if you're still in the Romblon area but I just wanna let you in on Tablas Island's real hidden gem... it is the "BLUE HOLE OF TABLAS ISLAND! It's located at the northernmost tip of the island just off shore of the town of Cawayan, San Agustin, Romblon on Tablas Island. The Blue Hole of Tablas Island is the only known blue hole discovered in the Philippines to date and just one of the very few places in the world where you can find an underwater phenomenon such as the blue hole! It would be really awesome if you can take some drone shots and capture the "ring" of the blue hole from a bird's eye view and you can also go free diving or scuba diving and take some underwater shots of the blue hole. I've seen it once in a documentary and the blue hole looked really awesome & spectacular from underneath and above the water. It would be really cool if your drone can capture that rare cinematic shot of the "blue hole ring" in the middle of Sibuyan sea just off of Tablas. It might just get you viral because no other vlogger has featured it before, haha! Btw, I recommend you guys watch this particular vlog below to give you more ideas of the best spots around Tablas Island where you can take some beautiful cinematic shots. I just thought it was even better than Lost LeBlanc's cinematic rendition of Tablas Island, lol! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2GSzwh85pAQ.html
Wow Ryan and Stacia, you guys are really going to places that even us natives that were born there haven’t been to. There are still undiscovered places in the Philippines with more than 7k islands. Great video guys! Keep it coming.
I really love your vlog guys specially when in bad times but still you're smilin..thank you so much for appreciating our hospitaly..but if your trying to get to mindanao just do a survey first which places are safe to travel. Stay safe guys
Hello, I am from Bangladesh. Doing business with lot of pressure. But now a days, when i feel pressure in my business, i take some break, and watch your video, i feel very great, when i watch your video and especially both of you with amazing view...i feel very Light..feel cool..feel relax...... In one word, your video is Medicine for me., for remove my pressure. Thanks a lot.
Its wonderful to see people who are motivated to see simple things and places and considered them as rare gems. You really know how to appreciate life in different places. I agree that the place you've found (Mainit falls) is ''tiny' gem, but nevertheless is a gem - the color of the water and sorounding area is really unspoiled nature...
Hi Ed! It was definitely not the epic waterfall we were hoping for. But, that wasn’t going to stop us from enjoying the beautiful scenery and spending time with the friendly locals. It was quite the adventure getting there, but worth every minute! Thanks for watching! 🙏🏻❤️
Ed Madio honestly, it was one of the highlights of our trip. Going to a tourist beach is fun, but spending four hours biking through the jungle to find a handful of locals enjoying their day at one of the worlds natural playgrounds was a completely different experience. This is real travel and we love it ❤️
I watch a lot of these travel videos and I gotta tell you guys, I feel like I’m right there with you. What an I credible job you both do. I am leaving for Cebu tomorrow and have also planned a trip to KL as well on my three week vacation. Thanks to your great and very entertaining videos. Omg you guys are so great together doing this.
So awesome of you to say, Chris... thank you!! 🙏 We love making these videos and it's even better to have them as memories. We are pumped to hear how your SE Asia adventures go!! We haven't been to Cebu, but are planning to in December so maybe you can give us some tips ☺️ You'll love KL as well... clean chaos and way more affordable than most other SE Asian cities for sure. Make sure you eat at a "Mamak" to get a dose of local life!
Hi Policarpo! Thanks so much for the warm welcome. And we would like to welcome you to our channel and thank you for taking the time to watch and comment. We appreciate you! 👍🏻❤️
Im a filipino but I never explored the romote places in the philippines,. but you guys, your teaching us the beauty of it... thanks to your vlog, i subcribed and continue to support your channel...
Its like Indian Jones and the search for the lost waterfall!! Great vlog as ever, do you think you would ever be able to find you way back to the waterfall again, because you do really need some drone shots :-) !
Hey Simon! Funny you mention Indiana Jones. I felt like him in one of our Thailand videos while exploring the ancient ruins. I was climbing through this tight spot to find the end of a tunnel and even said that 😆 I actually did have the drone but for some reason it kept giving me an altitude issue and wouldn’t fly. The same thing happened when I tried to fly it at the waterfall in Puerto Rico. Maybe my drone doesn’t like waterfalls 😂
Very cool couple. Glad that you finally found the waterfalls even though the road is so rough. Well done guys. Been following you since your first day here in our country. The CORON video the best
Hi Lize! Thanks for the comment. It was definitely quite the adventure with plenty of ups and downs. But, that’s the best part of the day. Then getting to hang with the friendly locals made it even better. So glad you are enjoying the videos. Great to have you here on the channel. Plenty more videos on the way! Much love ❤️ ❤️❤️❤️
lize lorono puya aw thanks!! I agree with you, Coron was the most beautiful place I’ve ever seen. I am already planning a return trip to Palawan and some other, more secluded islands ☺️☺️
New subscriber. Planning to go to philippines end of july for 1 month and started watching all your videos to get some idea on where to visit nice places and enjoy our holiday. Thanks for all the videos I enjoyed watching them
Hi Marvin! So glad the videos helped you get an idea of what to expect and the places to see. We are excited for you because it’s so awesome there. Enjoy your stay man! Also, welcome to the channel, great to have you here 👍🏻😊
Thank you so much, once again, for promoting the off-the-track tourist destinations in the Philippines. You may also visit the nearby island provinces of Marinduque, Masbate and Mindoro. All start in M and they have many attractions that are not yet touristy. Again, Thank you my dear.
Hi Epquisao! We were determined to find this little gem. Even if it wasn’t an amazing waterfall, it was still a fun adventure getting there. Meeting and spending time with the locals made it even more enjoyable and gave us some great memories to share. We will definitely look into the locations you mention, always great to have new spots to explore. Thanks so much for being a part of our little RU-vid family! 🙏🏻❤️❤️❤️❤️
Adventure vlog like this makes me feel anxious, excited, worried, and extremely satisfied at the end. That beautiful waterfall is a little bit underwhelming but the adventure that you guys went through is worth the trip. Driving thru a shallow rocky riverbed’s risky/hilarious. Those locals are hospitable and I love seeing animals free in their natural habitat. Another great post.
Hi Ivan! Yeah, this waterfall wasn’t the most epic and we imagined something a little bigger. But the adventure there and meeting the locals is what really made this day the best. Can’t wait to share the second part of this day in the next video! Thanks for the love ❤️💪🏻
ivankirk12 yes! Ryan driving through the riverbed was cracking me up 😂😂 we had a really fun/adventurous day and there was a little anxious for us too! But that’s what makes it fun. We are both huge animal lovers so that was a highlight for us too ☺️
Wow, I admire your commitment to finding those falls!!! Fantastic job capturing your experience to share with us, as always I am your biggest fan ❤️ Thank-you!!
Hi Robin! It was definitely an adventure to say the least. But that’s the best part of the day. So glad you are enjoying the videos. Plenty more on the way. Thanks for the love and support 🙏🏻❤️
Hello. Its my province and Im glad you visited it. You guys missed the one beautiful falls located at San Andres town right next to Odiongan. Anyways thank for visiting. I'll be there next month for Christmas vacation. 😁
Hi Jerome! You have such an amazing place to call home. We absolutely loved it there. We are excited to visit again soon. Enjoy Christmas with the family 😊
Wow guys your lucky to explore the natures there I haven’t been there and most of the places in philippines .. when i retire i ll be back in the Philippine and stay near beach ..
Hi Mars! It was quite the adventure and I still can’t believe we finally found it after all that. Small little spot, but the adventure was the best part 💪🏻❤️
We might do a small meetup when we are back in the Philippines 🇵🇭 Hope you’ll be able to come 😊 When it comes to starting vlogging, you just need to pick up the camera and start doing it. That’s really the only thing stopping you 💪🏻😉
oh my gosh Hehe do you know San Andres Mari norte odiongan romblon is very nice place like San Andres mablaran falls are you visit this place before oh you don't know..? odiongan romblon is my province 😁
Damn...you guys really went innnn..that is so dope! I was born in the Philippines but grew up here in jersey and ive always wanting to explore motherland that way! Maybe ill take my wife and daughter this yr! Thanks for inspiring!
DeathByVlog Im in Central Jersey by Brunswick-Woodbridge area. We have plans going home later on this month but with all the craziness going on with the outbreak...smh-were probably gonna end up goin anyway. Where did you live here in Jersey? Cool to hear from you guys.
Hi Jim! Thanks for the nice comment. The vibe here in the Philippines is just awesome and everyone we meet is nicer than the last. We can’t wait to explore even more and meet more of the locals 👍🏻❤️😊
14:25 I really do envy people who lives in neighborhoods like this. So peaceful. You don't need to worry about buy groceries because that's just a motorbike ride to the town market, or you could just even have your own little farm like most Filipinos have in the provinces. So quiet. So clean. Free from pollution. That's how life should be
The wild adventures of Ryan and Stacia! Man, you guys are really getting around. At least now you know how Christian felt. Yes, I also follow his channel. Hope you guys found your way back from the falls....that was quiet a trek just to find the place. Now you got one on Christian....lol. btw..this whole place reminds me a bit of my home province in Samar. Enjoy paradise, guys and travel safe!
Haha wild adventures 😂😂 New channel name. Not the huge waterfall we were hoping for, but the adventure getting there was the fun part. We made it back but not without some rough patches along the way. Kinda broke down in the middle of the night. Wait until the next video lol 😂
Soo pretty looking at those graphs! I'm going to call it now, this is when you guys explode. The traveling has brought your content over the edge. I'm beyond happy for you both, and I can't wait to see what this channel grows into
swain that’s sweet of you.. thank you for believing in us! We would love to see the channel grow but hey, we love making videos so we will be uploading either way ☺️ thank you for the continued support OG DBV Fam ❤️
thats a real adventure where nobody could tell where is the exact location of the falls only few locals knew about it hehehe glad you found it wheres a lot more out there that only few locals knows remains untouched and needs to be explored thanks for visiting our country hope you enjoy your trip God bless.
I was born in the island of Romblon, a couple of hours by boat. Its the capital but still the same a sleepy town. Never been in Tablas but I would like to try what you've experienced. It is awesome. Lots of marble souvenirs in Romblon Capital but smaller than Tablas. Yup Caucasians are rare over there. Generally it is safe, zero crime. If there is just petty crimes. Nothing like Los Angeles where I currently live. I get 30 alerts a day just in the half mile radius on our community watch blog. Oh I miss Romblon. Glad to stumble on this blog.
It's in Ferrol Romblon right? the one where you two were staying .. I've been there once.. there's a lot of beach resorts there now... owned by mostly by foreigners.. It's beautiful there... I love that place.. There's so much to see in Tablas Island
Thanks so much! I love filming the more cinematic footage for the vlog. It’s takes so much more effort and plenty more time to edit. But when I see comments like yours I strive to make even better content in the next one. Thanks again for the love ❤️
it's called mainit falls because the water there is kinda hot compared to other falls. 😊 find also garing falls next time,, it's also a hidden one.. 😊 thanks for the video.👍 makes me missed more my hometown tablas..
That's a really cool fact!! I read somewhere it might be down river from a hot spring... is this true? You have an INCREDIBLE hometown! Our next Tablas video is coming out in about an hour so stay tuned for that! Where do you live now?
I thought that you might lost your way in the Jungle .......I was so scared watching you in the middle of the Jungle finally I am relaxed that you reached your Destination to Water Fall.
So reminds me of Gilli Trwangan! Your style is so unique, you know instantly it’s a DBV short. You could post on an anonymous channel with no thumbnail and the viewer would know its you guys before you came into shot! I Would be pleased to have an 1/8 if your talent !
That’s so funny because we were watching a Gilli island video this morning 😊 I really appreciate the nice words man. I work so hard to make these videos and it’s great to see others notice a style or uniqueness to them. Thanks bro! 🙏🏻
Indiana Jones who? He's got noting on you guys. You guys probably found the Holy Grail and not sharing it here. Ryan and Stacia, you guys are amazing, always appreciates the beauty around you. Glad you guys made it safe and thank you for always making me feel positive whenever i watch your videos and I'm sure that I'm not the only one.
Haha 😂 this waterfall was far from the holy grail, but the adventure there was worth it! So happy our videos put a smile on your face. That means a lot 🙏🏻❤️❤️❤️❤️
Clear skies at night on any islands hop destination in the Philippines the stars are crystal clear its like galaxy cameras wont due justice! Enjoy the island nature was there early January of this year in Bohol.
I remember going to that Falls when I was assigned as a physician in that town several years ago. I am now based here in Canada and I am rooting to go back to that place someday.
I am from the town of Odiongan and I used to work as a resident physician at the Romblon Provincial Hospital. It is really difficult to get there on your own and you really need a guide to reach the place. It is not easily accessible because it is not a popular tourist spot. I have a high school classmate who lives near the falls and he was the one who guided us to reach the place. I still have a beautiful house in Odiongan and I will be back next year to attend our class reunion at the University of the East College of Medicine in Manila. Thank you for featuring our island of Tablas. It is a beautiful and peaceful place to visit.
Next time go to Sibuyan Island, Romblon - Cresta de Gallo, Cantingas River and Mt. Guiting-Guiting are a must see. And Romblon, Romblon for Bonbon Beach. 😍
Hi James! Thanks so much for the nice comment. I’m definitely not a professional videographer, only started making videos for fun. But I really found a passion in filmmaking and really enjoy creating cinematic videos for you guys. And to think, this video isn’t even close to my best work 😉 If you haven’t watched yet, check out the intro to the Coron Palawan video. That’s one of my favorites 👍🏻 Welcome to the channel my friend
So awesome. Love days like this! - One if my favorite days ever was a hike into a semi-hidden waterfall in Maui. This was next level. I remember when Christian tried to find this place. I can’t believe you found your way in AND out! How many repairs did the moped need after that trip? Ha! So dang good. Can’t wait for the next one. That ‘glistening arm’ though Ryan! 😜
HarvyDanger Films wow your Maui waterfall sounds amazing!!! Hawaii is still on my bucket list... maybe on our way back to the US we can stop there and you can share your secret waterfall location with us haha ☺️
Stacia Sleight But, check it out on my Vlog and see what you think of this waterfall. Different but, cool. Hike into the Jungle and Jump from a Waterfall in Maui (2018)ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3xuOaNF3Fo4.html
Thank you guy's for exploring my mother land Philippines.. I've been to 165 countries . But I never explore my country ( I'm working in international cruise ship).
Can I ask something... the vloggs are very good. I find it very interesting and entertaining. The way both of you speak in front of camera is very professional , edditing and story telling.. i just wonder how did you came up with the Death By vlog name ? It is like an orthodox but overall i love seeing the both of you.
Hi Mikko! Welcome to the channel 🙏🏻❤️ The name was pretty random. We were at an event called the “Chocolate Walk” and the phrase Death By Chocolate was being used all day. That stuck in my head and then before uploading the very first video, I was required to choose a channel name. That’s when I just randomly picked DeathByVlog 😂 It’s not the best choice but I feel like we are kinda stuck with it now 😉
