They're so old Hollywood and I love it. Like, they're right out of the 'sewing circle' (a term coined by LGBTQ historians for women who liked women and were old Hollywood stars) and would be having drinks with Marlene Dietrich, Marilyn Monroe and Greta Garbo.

@hua5442 there are letters from her acting coach, Natasha Lytess, that suggest that the pair lived together for 7 years as "husband and wife". She also detailed some events, like kissing women, in her diary. But these are just artifacts of speculation. We can go off these but there isnt a way to know 100% without asking Marilyn herself. Many people accept that she was likely bi or pansexual to some capacity. What we do know is that Marilyn was a different person in private than she was to the public.

@hua5442 there are also alleged romantic letters between her and a pen-pal from her hometown who was a woman. But I've only ever seen them referenced, so I take those with a grain of salt since those can't be proven 🤷‍♀️
