We bought Military H1 Humvee’s sight unseen! It took over 6 months to get these from the goverment and they need a lot of work. Enjoy watching my Dad and I look at them and drive them for the first time. What should we do to these Humvee’s?? Comment below so we can start building them!

It's actually HMMWV (pronounced as humvee) it stands for High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle.

@@DeBerti No you can make a spud gun out of PVC and use a air to fire pretty much the same for tshirt cannon PVC parts depending on how big 20 or 30 dollars

You can get an arc welder box and hook it to that they have them for off-road vehicles it's a little 5 inch square box that's a welder just plug leads into it hook it to the alternator got a welder RPM adjuster that's it

Warning: If by chance you roll it, H1's are UNFORGIVING. If you think they can't roll, ask yourself why does the military have special rollover training for H1's... I spent more time in one of these then I care to mention. God bless you and your family 🙏🏼 🙏🏼 🇺🇸 ❤️

I am M998 Humvee fan but then again that is the version I drove in the Army for my first 3 years as MANP.A.D.S. Crewmember/Crew Leader and another when I was Aviation Operation Specialist/ Command SGM driver my other 3 years. I would love to have a certified authentic M998 Hard Top and a Soft top. I would never buy another car or truck if I had my hands on those two vehicles.

Also I want to add this, reason for my love of the M998 is in 1995, My Sgt and I survived a nighttime head-on collision with an M3 Bradley IFV and the engine still fired up after the fact, the frame itself well that's a different matter altogether.

I like them humvees but people that buy them from the government have more money then brains and I would not buy from them but if I did would not fuck them up repainting them black or trying to get them stuck are messed up

Humvees were one of the first Hummer H1,(probably Military based H1's). I know there's a big difference between military Hummers, civilian Hummers and on-road Hummers, but what do you mean by saying that they're not H1 but Humvee, lol.

One thing I’ve heard about buying these is that you have do something through DPS before putting them on actual streets. But you can go off-road all day

Refurbished in 2014. Nearly all Hummers were at some point refurbished. They also do great with turbos! official.bankspower.com/insider_news/hot-rod-humvee/

None of the lights/signals work unless you turn on the lights. And, they aren't H1s. Their just HMMWVs (humvees). That 4 door is badass! The high exhaust and intake are part of the "Fording" kit. USMC HMMWVs commonly have them.

what happened to the big militay truck that you took to the drag races? id suggest make the tuck look more like a sick offroad truck. So wide body light strip etc. the wide hips your mustang has with the litebar the transformer truck has, if you get what I mean put the exaust form the 4 door and a snokel so you can go anywhere with it the 4 door maybe make it all modern inside but still the militay look outside, keep the turrent ring and put your mount for your foam AR foam cannon or a tshit launcher or something of your own design. @Brad DeBerdi

They were most likely just reserve vehicles. Army, national guard, etc have the same stuff and it looks like they robbed parts, and the low miles would also suggest that's where they were.

so you need to flip the start switch to wait then wait tell the light turns off then click to start. you will destroy them otherwise. i had to do maintenance on one for 2 years. can they start with out waiting yes. then youll end up having to fix way more later if you dont. the military likes to simplify and dummy proof its gear.

I also have a couple humvees! The lights will not work unless you use the unlock switch then turn the lights on. Feel free to hit me up if you have any questions. I've done a lot to mine and have plans to do so much more! Also I would definitely wait for the glow plugs to heat up before you start the humvee. Thats what the yellow wait light is for, it will shut off when the truck is ready to start. They are an absolute blast! Enjoy.
