@@gabeitches431 Its because the cops themselves never show us... fuck the media and fuck most cops too. Theres good ones, but far too many who just stay silent when they see other officers doing wrong. From the smallest of things like speeding without a reason, all the way to killing innocent civlians... they stay silent on all offences done by other officers. How is that helping the public exactly ??? Good cops wouldn't keep silent yet they all do, their unions tell them to and they bow down and listen.
Something like 40 years ago, I did the old touch and go at a stop sign. I got pulled over in front of an elementary school during recess. The kids all lined up at the fence asking the officer if I was a murderer, a bank robber, etc. The cop just burst out laughing. He then gets my information and keeps laughing. He comes back, tells me to be more careful, because he can give me a ticket for no gloves in the glove compartment if he wanted to (all smiling by the way). He then says it is your lucky day. The kids just made him laugh too hard. You get a warning. To this day, I still come to a complete stop; much to the annoyance of the people behind me.
that officer had me fucking dying😂😂 “well i got myself a welding shop...when were your tools stolen?” “thursday” “well thats about the time i set up my shop. i was gonna do it thursday night but i was...collecting...my...tools”
@@AjarZzzz How does it have to do with happiness, he's just regurgitating what was already said. Like that annoying friend that repeats the punch line of a joke after you told it.
I believe he was trying to point out that the officer might have been the one, as it was a "coincidence" as the officer stated. That was my thoughts. Not him trying to point out a "punch line" of a joke, but merely an observation. Boy, some people just can't use their brains
My pops always said an alcoholic will steal you your wallet and feel bad about it but a tweaker will steal your wallet and help you look for it. Hope you get some closure.
@@Stellarspace95 if you’re down bad enough the drunk will give it back and try and play it off. The tweaker will try and top your story/life while talking about how they just “hit a come up”.
@@Stellarspace95 the guy that feels bad about it will own up to his actions and hold himself accountable. The guy thats tweaking will blame you for leaving it out and then try to blame everyone else around you besides themselves
From my experience, thieves tend to hit vehicles and surrounding property (things left outside) from 3-4AM. Anything later, someone might be going to work. Anything earlier, and some night owl might be up. 3AM is prime time.
Well that's the same time elite unit's like to raid houses and such. Normal humans are usually in REM sleep then, so your dead to the world. That's when they stole my car. Tried again but I had a fake coil wire so it didn't start so they just smashed all the windows out.
Normal day overall. Cant crack a joke or have a good time, it makes for a long shift and a terrible job. I ise to jome around a lot about stuff. Like when the local tweaker burned their house done with shady electricity rehook/theft from the pole. He wasnt home and simply moved away. Never a problem again! Then anotherocal drunk finally smoked his last and lit himself on fire when he passed out. Incident with that person every other week.(Drunk drivinf. Accident, drugs ect)
@@demonrathunter Thats is NOT why he was joking around. Items are just that items and can be replaced. Ya, it sucks, but overall theres nothing that can be done. If Westin was craxking jokes about it all, its a clear sign he wouldn't mind getting it in return. I've had stuff stolen myself. No need to be an uptight D about it, but there is a time and place for everything.
Even though it's been a minute since this happened, I'm still glad you found your stuff. I had a body shop that was fully loaded with enough tools to keep 6 employees busy. I had been in business for over 10 years, but I walked in after taking a weekend off " to find out that every single hand tool and everything else that it took to prepare to paint a car and paint it was gone. The moment I found out I tried to call my manager, but he wouldn't answer his phone and this was before everyone had a Mobil phone. Well I went up to the guys house and everything he had was gone, so my manager ripped me off and even though there was a warnt for his arrest he never got caught. Come to find out that he had moved to Florida, and took two of the biggest U-Haul trucks full of my stuff with him. My sister seen him years later while she was in the hospital, he had already lost both of his legs and had several strokes because of his sugar. He died right after he got out of the hospital, and even though he got me for a lot of stuff my ensurnce covered most of it. I didn't hold anything against him, he started doing drugs and they got the best of him.
Lmao I caught that too. Good for her for making sure if a man tries anything funny she’s got something more than pepper spray and a thing that makes a really loud noise
@@dhgzebraa261 why would it be specifically for a man? Not all men are bad as you think, women are dodgy to but because it's women it doesn't get a big deal brought about it.
I’m glad you were able to find out who did it, not knowing who stole your stuff is one of the worst feelings ever. I hope they eventually learn from their mistakes and get off the dope!
Westen: My shop stuff was stolen Cop: when was you're stuff stolen? Westen:Thursday night Cop:"I was thinking opening up shop on Thursday night but i was busy. Lol
the people in your online community know the true love and value of tools and equipment, those who know this would never steal from anyone that makes a living on those tools. BTW you guys are awesome.
@@MomJeans2 haha, Pittsburgh here. Definitely a city thing. My Grandmother had my grandfathers war medals stolen and pawned for 20$. A priceless piece of family history for a gram of crack! It’s just a city thing.
@@durby24 Rural communities tend not to frown on good people protecting themselves. Cities you are expected to eat the loss and thank the thief on their way out.
@@WestenChamplin Westen, you were not confused...the old quote IS "There is Honor among thieves." Meaning they usually will not "rat" on each other. There are novels and movies by that name.
had the exact same thing happen 2 days ago i had alot of tools taken and the wiring of a big ass professional machine shop electic board the frustration is REAL
I feel your pain here man... I had about $70k in tools and shop equipment robbed from me. Literally took my livelihood away from me. I'm a 25+ year tech and it was an enormous blow to me. They also cut the main battery cable on my track car. Not sure what the idea was with that but I fixed the cable and got my car out of there at least. Sucks when people take from you and they did nothing to earn or deserve what they took. Scumbags bro.
I pray you get your stuff back down the road. Karma will get the pos people who did that. It’s always crack heads. Meth heads. The fuckers will try shit normal people would never try. There basically walking zombies.
Meth.... They did the same to me... Welder air compressor, cut the cords from every light and tool. Left the tools, took the copper cables... Cut the radio from my 1963 and 1976 Chevy trucks...
Man where have I been. This is my first video I have seen from you guys. I recognize you from cleatus vids and man you make great content with an awesome personality to match. I'm a new subscriber.

Hey brother I know the feeling. I am a professional tattoo artist from Long Island New York and been tattooing going on 10 years now and someone went and stole all my equipment from me even have the text them admitting to it. Now I need to try and build back up to get back to the shop and work again. Such a hard thing to go through when it comes to our livelihood and what me enjoy the most. Best of luck brother and love your content. 🇺🇸
glad you found him. Just a tip for the future or anyone else in this situation. . once they (pawn shops) buy something they usually hold the stuff for 30 - 90 days depending on state law. so walking in to look for stuff you may not see it on the floor.
Your laugh is so contagious. Love watching your videos cause I always laugh along with you. Thanks for always lifting my mood. Keep up the awesome content my dude!!!
Westen! You're a good man, thanks for using your influence not to encourage violence... alot of other people would have handles this differently you took the high and responsible road. Good man!!
I was really hopin to hear you say “and they’ve been arrested” but, alas, I wait for another update! Glad you found out. Can’t even believe someone would steal from YOU
Someone broke into my house last July. Stole $2k worth of tools. Didn’t call the cops. The guy sold stuff he stole from my house to my friend who lives on the street. So set the dude up and smashed both his hand with a hammer. Took a note from casino.
@@bb.3844 America is waaaaaaay to lax on theft. Can steal 50k worth of items and if your story is good enough you’ll get off no jail time and a smack on the head. In other countries? They’ll beat you, cut off fingers, shun from villages/towns. People don’t steal as often as people do over here because of real consequences. Why do you think the foreign scam sites and hotlines target Americans mostly?
@@V_______ I slightly disagree on this. I work for the court system, every day we have people getting felony charges for anything over $1000. It blows my mind how many thieves there are amongst us from soccer moms to drug addicts
Haha this dude. Happened to me. Just re organized my toolbox. Just made it easier for them to pick what they wanted. Everything metric in my box was gone. Left me with only standard sockets.
2 minute time mark. Cop, " I'd have to charge you..." I spit sprayed my computer screen with iced tea. Thanks WC and the cop for a the best laugh in weeks.
Anxiously awaiting part two. I hate to wish jail time on anyone, but thieves are what those bars are made to hold in. I’m sorry you got your stuff taken and I hope you get it all back in working order, but I hope those scumbags get tossed in for a year each.
Some states there is a waiting period and you don't go in there to look you asked to see there purchase log see if they bought the stuff if they got the items on the log you look at them also you ask if anybody has been in there trying to sell these items they turn down probably 10 to 20 items a day
@@jeremyhanna3852 aak to see a pawn shops log?? 😂😂 yeah ok.. So the laws are in the pawn shops favor.. If you pawn something and the broker thinks it may be "borrowed" they can simply record the serial number wrong... And not get into any trouble... great news Westen glad you found the jerks!, my jobsite was robbed in the beginning of the pandemic . all my tools gone! all the materials gone! as much it hurt it still hurts. watching your videos will always make me laugh!
Weston, love the detective skills, I had a vehicle hit while parked, I found pieces of the car that hit me, ( tail light and a small corner of the car, I drove all over town looking and found the guy and made him go to insurance, it made my day!!! Lol
I have a friend who was involved in a red light runner hitting him and fleeing. Little did the guy know his front bumper and license plate had been ripped off and remained at the scene lmao. By the way, if I may, I'd highly suggest buying a dash cam. It'll cost you anywhere from $20 to several hundred dollars depending on the quality you want and so on. You can leave it in your car running 24/7 so if your car is parked and someone hits you and runs, it's all on camera, ideally with their license plates too.
Looks like you filed a police report and then had to do all the investigation. It's like the line on Seinfeld after the burglary: "We'll let you know if we find anything." "Do you ever find anything?" "No."
Yeah cops are worthless when it comes to stolen goods. They most looking they do is going about the normal days routine and if the stolen goods happen to show up they act like they were hunting hard for it. I've helped myself more than cops ever have. I stopped calling them a LONG time ago
