The spin cycle stopped working on our washer. So I opened the front panel to see what was the matter. I found the that the belt for the spin motor had fallen off (which I re-attached and that fixed the problem). But in the process we found an unexpected trove of, you guessed it, ten years of lost socks. Sixty (60) lost socks to be exact. Some of them even made their own pairs again. This is a GE single unit stackable washer/dryer model number GTUP270EM4WW. We will be more careful in transferring clothes in the future! They drop in the cracks around the drum when moving clothes in and out of the washer.
