i'm not even a truck driver but i want to own a cabover semi one day. i don't know why but i love them. Rare to see in the U.S. nowadays but when you see one it's a treat.
There are quite a few cabovers still in revenue service. One well-known example is "Orwell", an '82 Peterbilt 362. It's the star of the #FSCTrucking channel on YT.
@@bertgrau3934 it drove all the way home. Smokes and burns oil and needs lots but it’s the first one I’ve ever got my hands on. No idea what I’m going to do with it yet
Well, if you need someone to teach you how to drive it, I'm a 48 year veteran long haul driver and trainer. I've always loved Astro's. Many years ago I drove the GMC General with a 2 cycle Detroit. Pretty loud, but fun.@@atpmonstergarage
