I recently learned from a vet tech that there is a cat food that suppresses whatever chemical it is that causes allergies for people! I can’t recall the name of it, but definitely something to look into I think! ❤ Dolly is the cutest!!
You can try having her sit in the same place every week or two weeks and taking her picture so you can see her growing! I love looking at the differences in my kitten as she aged and I'm so glad i have pictures to see how big shes gotten compared to how she was. Then you can make a cute time lapse video of her growing

I’ve had cats my entire 30 years of life and I have never heard of whisker fatigue! Just had to look it up. Cute kitty! Congratulations! You basically did everything the opposite order of me. I got cats first, then a dog, and now any day now about to go into labor with my first baby. 😮
Congrats! I also have a Ragdoll and they're just the sweetest. They grow super fast for a while, then they grow slowly until they're around 4 years old. Crazy to watch it happen.

I’m so in love with Dolly 😍 Ever since I found out about Ragdoll cats I’ve wanted one, because they are the chillest cats and love being held, but they’re hard to get in my country, and they’re so expensive, I rather adopt 🥹 I now have a calico cat and she’s amazing! And she loves being held so I guess she has a little of a Ragdoll in her, I love her 🥹🥰
Hi Kristen! I love Dolly, so happy for you guys! My partner and I have 3 cats and we love them! Just a quick tip: I recommend that you put her water bowl separate from her food bowl because cats do not like them together since the smell of the food will seep into the water and therefore she’ll probably not drink as much water! I would just put the bowl in another area of the room 🤗 Hope this helps!
Omg try pine pellets for litter!!!! The best switch I ever made. It is more cost effective. The pine pellets will turn to saw dust when she pees on it. The absolute best thing is there is no pee smell!!!! And minimal tracking. There are a lot of videos on RU-vid about it. You can easily diy a sifter pan as well so you can sift out the saw dust to make the most of the pine pellets. You can get a bag from tractor supply for $7

My husband has a significant allergy to cats. When we welcomed our cat into our home, a friend from his college days suggested he try a supplement called Natural D-Hist. Amazingly, after six months of consistent use, his allergy symptoms have drastically diminished. Nowadays, he can even enjoy a peaceful night's sleep with our cat close by! In the initial stages, he took a higher dose of the supplement but gradually lowered it over time and eventually didn't need it anymore. We've found it to be an absolute game-changer, and I can't help but heartily recommend it! We also discovered a unique cat food, Purina Pro Plan Live Clear, that seems to help as well. Our cat's diet is half wet food and half of this. We started with the kitten version and transitioned her to adult at one year. On top of this, I make it a point to give our cat a gentle bath monthly using a hypoallergenic cat shampoo. It's a little routine we've established that seems to do the trick.
Marcus reading to James, as well as your sweet new baby Dolly, reminded me that Dolly Parton has a program where kids that are Tennessee receive a free book from her every month up until the age of 5! Kristin!!! Dolly is the cutest thing ever I have a kitty too and I’m dying for a rag doll! One thing that I noticed in your Instagram post is that you have flowers and some of them look like lilies not to tell you what to do, but do some research on toxicity of flowers with cats because they’re pretty much all toxic and I know you have a bunch of plants and flowers in your house 😢
Really? My cats are siblings & one of them cannot stand her sibling. If he simply breaths on her, she hits him 😂 not all cats want a companion BUT most of them do enjoy it
@@larissa1770 100%! My oldest cat would bite us and be so naughty. Once we got our second cat, he finally realized that biting hurts. We obviously couldn’t bite him so now he knows how that feels! Helps with social skills, less destructive, more exercise, mentally stimulated, etc!
I think maybe we’ve all had a kitten sized whole in our hearts since biscuit. ♥️ so happy you got little dolly she is the sweetest! (Also really hoping Marcus eventually doesn’t notice his allergy!! I am allergic to my cat too but if it’s not too severe he might get “used” to it. I only notice when I get scratched or when I leave for an extended period of time but it goes away eventually again if that makes sense)
His allergies may get better as the kitten gets older. I get very itchy and have allergies to kittens, but as they get older I’m okay. They say kitten fur is different. 😊
Ragdolls are the best! Never once has mine hid under the bed when people come over. He LOVES following everyone around and has never met a stranger (human or animal)!! Ragdolls turn non-cat people into cat people! Enjoy her!!
I’m super allergic to every animal, but I LOVE all animals and always put my face on every dog and cat and fluffy animal I saw bc cuteness aggression lol, so I always took daily Zyrtec or Allegra and it worked perfectly for me! I grew up with a dog and cat, and now I can raise my own son Simba 🦁🐱 and not be allergic to him! 🥰💛
my cats are best friends with my son too! he’s only 11 months so he’s not the best at being gentle yet but they are so patient with him 😭 love her name!
Dolly's the most adorable kitten ever. Love her. I also wish I could hace a kitten as a Pet. But about three years ago i started having alergic reactions to their hair. 😢 its really sad. I hope you guys enjoy her as much as you can. God bless you all. Love your Channel Kristen. ❤
Marcus I feel your pain, love cats and grew up with them but I’m allergic so once I moved out and got married we stuck to pups but I’m impressed and glad you can manage the allergies! She’s so cute you almost have to 😂
