Yes, yes, Cosette! Cosette is also an important character in Victor Hugo's iconic novel, Les Misérables. In the broadway musical adaptation, Cosette is portrayed as a classic ingénue -- a character played by a young woman who is known for being a sweet, doe-eyed beauty; though not particularly clever, the ingénue is still beloved and doted on by all.
Congrats on your new family member! I vote the kids get to pick the name! We don't deserve to! Hope you had fun!! Based off your video & music. Stormy would be a cool name just for my 2 cents. Family & pets get us through the storms & there's usually a beautiful rainbow after! 😊🙏🌧🌈 Thank God!
Getting a puppy as a child is the best thing ever! Where do you live? I see lots of wilderness and trees ! The puppy is too cute, especially with one ear flipped over for extra cuteness.
I would name her Lady Bertram. In the book Mansfield Park, (which, by the way, gave us the character Mrs. Norris) there is another character, Mrs. Norris's sister, called Lady Bertram. Lady Bertram has a pug named Pug. I think your sweet puppy looks more like a pug of 200 years ago than pugs look today. So I would name her Lady Bertram, since if you named her Pug, "helpful" people would constantly be telling you she isn't a pug. Actually, in doing that, those "helpful" people would be acting like Mrs. Norris. Anyway, Mansfield Park is one of my favorite books, hence my choice.
Oh my goodness...she’s so precious!! Welcome to your new baby! I can get so carried away with pet names. It’s taken me more than a week on some occasions to name my pets, but here are a few that come to mind: Bella Millie Cecilia Julep Someone else said Dollie and I thought that was cute too!
Papillon - means Butterfly 🦋 (boy/girl) Cozette - means small & tiny Sophie - means smart Esme - means Beloved Isa - means God is Generous Lena - burst of Sunshine Elie - from God . She is adorable 🥰
Due to her left ear flopping, what about 1) Flopsy OR spelled Flopsie, OR when she was jumping out in the yard, 2) Jumper. Some future advice on getting a dog wherein I'm passing on info from someone I once knew that gave me GREAT advice. LET THE DOG CHOOSE YOU. LET THE BREEDER SET THE PUPS DOWN, AND THE DOG WILL APPROACH YOU, NOT YOU IT. THEY SENSE YOU AND EITHER LIKE YOU OR THEY DON'T. IT HAS A LOT I THINK TO DO WITH WILL THEY BE HAPPY, LESS STRESSED ETC. HERE'S HOPING YOU GET A GOOD NAME FOR HER. :)
Personally, I like names that have meaning, because she is going to be part of Your Family, and she is supposed to be the “Forever Puppy” I propose (either/or both) of the following. (Lithuanian = English): “Mažai”= “Little” (+) “Śeima” = “Family”…*smiles* So Mažai Šeima I plugged words into Google Translate, then tried various languages, until I found words that I thought meant something & then also sounded pretty in whatever language. Whether or not you pick the above, I hope that your new little darling is in your lives for many years and she brings You All much Joy, Happiness, Wonderful Memories, Comfort and Endless Adventures for Your Little Ones!
This is only meant as humor so if your woke or thin skinned ignore my response. I think a good name for your puppy would be Damnit. Then you could say, Dammit did you pee on the carpet, Dammit did you poop behind the couch, Damnit did you puke in the bed, or Damnit did you bite the mailman.
