A huge shout out to James Thiel for having the persistence to getting Toby Gads permission to release this and of course to Toby himself for allowing James to do so. We owe a huge debt of gratitude for both these gentlemen for this early release of this amazing song. In my opinion Angelina is on the top of her game on this one.

I feel this is one song where she finally gets to take the advice from her old coaches from NGT and that is to not worry about anything and just SING! Here she is not restricting herself. Toby Gad is a multi Grammy award winning songwriter and producer. He has worked with many of the biggest superstars in the music industry producing award-winning hits. He is currently in process of producing an album of his top eight songs called Piano Diaries. He invited Angelina to perform If I Were a Boy with him at piano. This song was originally made famous by Beyoncé in 2008, and has received over 600 million views. Most believe Angelina's version is much more intimate and emotional, and she has made it hers. Move over Beyoncé! It is more of a reimagining than a cover. Toby and Angelina also have been working on some original music, the first of which is a pre-release. Bad Valentine is a jazzy, soulful, and powerful song that is perfectly suited for Angelina's voice. I think it has great potential to be a hit! Toby Gad is very influential in the industry and this undoubtedly is a huge break for Angelina.

Great reaction, that wonderful interpretation! Angelina is so fantastically raw and aggressive with her unique voice, raspy and deep, performing fantastic and beautiful tonal scales. Not sure what you're talking about - while it would be amazing if Angelina appears June 20, it is by no means a sure thing - Toby has announced several other vocalists will be there, but not Angelina (yet!). And if she does perform, it's doubtful that she will be singing "a blend of jazz standards and contemporary pieces". Instead it will likely be Toby's If I Were a Boy, maybe/hopefully Bad Valentine (fingers crossed) and ? .... but this is TOBY'S CONCERT, not Angelina's.
