Something uniquely heartwarming about the tractor pictures, Mike - no matter the ‘age’ of the operators! Hard work . . . in touch with the land . . . the value of old and new . . . families and relationships . . . ingenuity . . . the nurture of generations. Great stuff!!

Good comment!! I'd like to see viewer pics as a permanent, and prob, exclusive feature of OWTM. Fewer pics, longer duration, maybe some commentary as they scroll, from Melissa and guests, maybe. You'd be as popular as Ed Sullivan, or Art Linkletter!! Hate those hard suggestions like "you oughta do this and that", but you really oughta do this and that!! Well, Levi oughta... I bet you'd get a billion comments from Japan and them, saying how they recognize this one or that one they helped build, back in the day, or Yesterday!!

Nothing wrong w writing down your thoughts. I use a 10"x8" appointment book, I think through American Express. I don't use it for appointments though. I record things that need to be remembered. Not a journal, there's columns, 3 days per page, just important things. My phone stores all my appointments. I am very proud of the Morgan family channel, it is my favorite. There may be a few things repetitive but never boring and lots of great content mix. Heck, from filling a Samsung washer full of holes to flying a plane at a birthday party, recording vacation travels to jobsites (back when you had the 9 to 5 job) and real family life. I'll never go back to commercial crap TV! I read the comments between you and Tom, lol, I told him he should give you the estimated cost of making your drive and parking lot heated! Don't forget that! Having your subscribers send in pics of their equipment was a super great idea, I really enjoy those. I hit today's video at 46 min in. Thank you yet again my friend for another great video! You've got a list, and I'm here for every thing on that list!👍🚜❤

If the Mr Cool is like the other popular mini splits, it probably comes with pre- charged system and connection stubs out the back of the inside unit. Make SURE you have easy access to where the hoses connect to those stubs. 9 times out of 10 the First issue you have will be those connections leaking after the first couple years. My advice is to connect everything, verify it is working, then have a pro come in and replace that hose-to-stub connection with solder connections, then let him re-charge it and maximize it with the gages. Very FEW of those units run at their best performance unless they are “tuned” with the gages. Hope this saves a future headache.
@wildbill23c
@wildbill23c 2 года назад
Good advice. I've been thinking of something like this for my house to get rid of the 12k window unit. Probably cheaper than having an AC unit added to my furnace system, IDK. My furnace is capable of having an AC unit added to it, just never did it, but sure would be nice to have the whole house cooled rather than the living room LOL.

I have one in my shop and I dont even run the AC mode, I run it in “Dry” mode…….which uses the AC obviously….. but just keeping the air drier makes it “feel” a lot cooler. I do it to keep woodworking projects and lumber more stable and ti keep machines from rusting so easily.

I was hoping for the kiln arrival. The plastic liners could be used as a hydroponics grow table and reservoir. Cut off the top, build a stand and put the reservoir underneath the stand. Put mulch in a burlap bag with an air stone in the reservoir for fertilizer. Check out a hydroponics shop for the pump and plumbing. Good luck to Eli on sap collection.

Or just use a Styrofoam sheet on top of the reservoir to hold small starts that the roots grow into the reservoir. Need to water until the roots get established.

I've had my Harbor Freight pallet jack for 6 months and it works great. I used to build platforms with casters for everything I wanted to move around and now that I store everything on pallets it works great. The best part is having the pallet jack handle to push and pull things around instead of bending over to be able push things around. Just get one, you will love having it around.

About 6 years ago I needed a pallet jack to move a 900 lb. safe that I was getting curb delivery on. I looked at HF, Tractor Supply, Northern Tool & all the big box stores for the best quality and lift capacity for the money. I ended up with the HF freight one and have never regretted it. I was going to sell it after I got my safe installed, but the darn thing is so handy I decided to keep it and still have and use it to this day. As a side note, you might also look at buying a HF 1000 Lb. hydraulic lift table too. It's great for moving things that is too heavy/bulky to lift but not appropriate for pallet forks. I don't know how I got along without it. My wife uses it to stack her groceries on it from her Costco runs and wheels them up to the house.

If you don't overload it, they work fine. My son failed to heed the weight rating on the one I had and bent it to the point where the bottom drags. We replaced mine with one with a higher rating and is still using the bent one at his house. He moved a 5000 lb CNC machine with two jacks. For the difference in price, get the heaviest rated jack you can find. At work we move 8000 lb air handling units using solid round bars and the lifts.

Skip the Harbor freight pallet jack. We have 4 pallet jacks in my warehouse and the Harbor Freight one has been rebuilt twice and currently not working. May be ok for occasional use but at this point I would need to spend another $150 on a replacement pump to put it back in service. Spend the extra money and get something better. Even a used Crown off Craigslist or Marketplace would be a huge step up. Parts are easily available for those.
