You can absolutely speak in tongues. It’s a gift not all receive but you can definitely ask the Lord for it. It’s a permanent part of my life now. But I was saved many years before I received this gift. But it should be between you and God. Paul warns about doing it in front of the church (believers) without an interpreter

Amennn the gifts are real, I’ve seen them with my own eyes real prophetic messages in my church exposing sin and revealing things to members. I’ve had many prophetic dreams. Wow the gifts of God are just too good “If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!” Matthew 7:11 ESV
Agreed Kb, note tho Mark 6: 7-12 does mention that the disciples did heal and do miracles before Jesus had died. Remember how gifts and miracles are without repentance (Romans 11:29) . So you can speak in toques without having the Holy Spirit. Many witch drs and tribal people do speak in toques so though we are able to speak in tongues it cannot be the true evidence of being filled with the Holy Spirit. Only following the word of God fully and not ignoring any part and having the fruits of the spirit can be the true evidence of being Holy Spirit filled (:

Until relatively recently, it was _completely_ normal to get married at this age. People grew up quicker and got on with things, instead of wasting precious time. Don't hate, congratulate.
