When you consider someone a "bestfriend," that person becomes an important figure in your most important memories, and someone that you could say is family. You can definitely feel that Angela is at peace and has already moved on. The other girl, on the other hand, seems to be miserable about what happened. I wish healing for them but I dont see the point of them rebuilding their friendship. There's just no point in revisiting past traumas especially when the other girl's environment still hasnt changed much.

Angela seems awkward whenever Leo mentioned rebuilding their friendship, parang ayaw nya, ayaw nya lang sabihin directly- which I think very valid if ayaw nya na talaga kasi sya yung binetrayed so no point talaga to rebuild it. Tingin ko yung pagbabalik ng friendship nila will only benefit Leo who seems very guilty talaga sa nangyari, parang rebuilding it will only give Leo peace, and Angela breaking her peace naman.

"I didn't know you were very hurt" the fact that it took 3 years before Leo realized that Angela was a wreck. I also have a friend na madalas ako kinakalimutan if nakakausap niya ang isa pa niyang kaibigan. The abrupt feeling of betrayal after that, parang mararamdaman mong option ka lang.

Tapos lahat ng sasabihin nung isa nyan friend like "wag mo syang kausapin" Ginagawa nya, ito namang friend ko (Girl A) after nilang mag-kaayos ako yung hindi pinansin kasi para daw maging independent ako kasi lagi na lang daw akong kasama ni friend aba malamang kaibigan nya din naman ako e yun pala gusto nyang sya (girl Z) lang yung kasama. After nun akala ko okay na e ilang araw pa lang bigla akong hindi kinausap dahil lang sa napakaliit na bagay 😂 ilang beses akong sumubok kausapin sya (si friend ko) kaso ako lang yung napapahinya so tumigil din ako pero ang ending after more than 5months ako yung unang kumausap sa kanya nung tinatanong ko kung anong dahilan ng pag-layo sabi ba naman sa akin wala lang daw yun trip nya lang. Dun ko na patunayan na kahit na anong gawin ko para ituring nya akong kaibigan hinding hindi nya magagawa na ituring akong kaibigan. Chaka mas okay na din na hindi na kami masyadong nagkikita para naman hindi sya nabubwisit kapag nalalaman nyang mataas yung grade ko kaysa sa kanya, competitive kasi sya sa lahat ng bagay at medyo natatakot na din kasi ako sa ugali nyang may pagka-perfectionist sa image nya at backstabber din.

I remember my bestfriend when i was still in college. She's very kind, tahimik, mahinhin, and pretty! tahimik sya sa iba pero pag magkasama kmi , pareho kaming kalog. Our friendship ended when i got into a relationship and nagka shuffle ksi noon sa sections kya we got separated na rin tas hnd pa tugma ung vacants namin. The thing I regret until now is the fact na mas pinili/ bnigyan ko ng time ung ex ko kesa sknya, though she had new friends na rin nmn non that time na when i try na lapitan sya, i felt out of place :( . If mababalik ko lng ung dati, i'd choose our friendship kesa sa (i didnt know that time) bad influence na relationship ko with my ex. I just watched the video earlier and I can't help realizing that I kept on smiling 🥲 my face can't even hide the fact that I was super happy to finally talk to my bff again. This was the longest conversation we ever had since the issue. I was just really happy that day. And yeah we're alright now. We're just both busy with our lives but we talk online naman hehe I don't have any intention talaga to submit and hope for the chance to get featured. Basta all i remember was that i thought of her since the moment i saw the casting call post and i just carelessly wrote our story and shared it 😅 When you’re broken talaga you have the ability to be poetic haha 😅🤣

Emotional ako habang pinapanood ko to. I've lost my college best friend. Naging close kami dahil seatmate ko sya. I'm glad that we reconciled during our graduation retreat. That was our closure after ilang months na walang pansinanan. But I know hindi na talaga maibabalik yung friendship namin dati. Civil na lang talaga kami now. I can really feel that Leo is sincere with apologizing to her ex best friend, Angela. It feels like she's ready to own up for her own mistakes. Angela, on the other hand I can really feel that she's still hesitating reconnecting with her and I can't blame her. She was betrayed by her own best friend. Like, Leo was her best friend and she's the one who knew her the most yet she listened to her new friends and her boyfriend and that really hurts the most. Though, I didn't believe Leo when she said she didn't expect that Angela would be so hurt of what she did. If you're really her best friend you would know how she will react on everything. There's this gut feeling since you really know the person. I really hope they both heal from what happened especially Angela and it's not necessary they should rebuild their friendship and go back the way they were before, but just a mature mutual understanding and closure. Healing takes time. Kahit civil lang sila to each other no bad blood anymore.

watching this made me realize how certain, sometimes impulsive, decisions can impact even the strongest friendships, the type of friendships that you were once so certain would last forever. life happens, but we should always think of the consequences of our actions before being influenced into doing something. i miss my old (i think saying "ex friends" is too soon) friends, but i'm not strong enough to talk to them like this. hopefully, someday, i can reminisce with them, too. they were a huge part of making the person that i am today, but life happens, and we're all on our separate paths now, and that's okay.

I can definitely relate, I had a bestfriend for 7 years but we ended our friendship because of my values(I don't want to ellaborate it na but the context is, her boyfriend) I realized that everyone is different and no matter how you hold on to a friendship that didn't match your own values, who cant see right through your real self even without you saying it directly. Time heals, but it will never bring back the bond. We talk now tho after 5 years had gone by not as it was but the pain isn't there anymore. When our friendship ended, I found my soulmate in the form of friendship. She knows my triggers and all even I don't say it out loud. So if you're reading this, trust me when I say that everything happens for a reason and don't blame yourself why that friendship ended, it's just some things don't fit in together like puzzle pieces.

While watching this, I can't stop myself from tearing up. I can relate with Leo. I got this college bestfriend named Red. I'm his sounding board. I knew him more than anyone else does (even his partners). We're bffs since freshmen. He was my favorite person. I left because I was hurt. And I'm wanting to reconcile, but after hearing Angela's answers, it kinda made me think that maybe Red doesn't want to reconcile as he has already found new bestfriends. He even got a partner (for two years already). I'm the only one wanting our connection to be rebuilt. But I think that would be too impossible now. 2019 I came to visit Manila, my bff of 23 years that time(since we were 12 years old) and I had a fight that ended of me walking out of her house. I flew back to the country where I live a month after thinking it was over and I would never see her again. We've been through so much though but I thought I had to let go. March 2023 I came to Manila again for a vacation, out of nowhere I came across the playlist of an artist we both like(she sent it before). It's as if a sign that I should extend an olive branch. I spent the whole month of March thinking what to write or msg her. When I finally had the guts, it was a simple, "Hi, how are you?" The funny thing is she was also contemplating what to reply. She sent me a simple, "I'm okay...ikaw?" After that it was a back and forth of how much we missed US. And now I am staying at her house, spent my bday in the Philippines after 27 years with her and extending my vacation so we can make up for the lost time. I'm so grateful we're given this chance.🙏🏻💜

Friendships most often are very low maintenance. You would have been attracted with each other's preference and attitude - that's what you call wave length. Friendships grow apart when you let external factors take over. This story is very common. 2 teenage girls being impulsive in their actions, 1 being more prominent than the other. New environment and new people have taken control. Trust was betrayed. There is a longing to mend the friendship but the environment and the people who have taken control are still there. Some learnings: 1. Trust is like a paper. You can never have it in the same state as before even if you recycle. 2. Your partner should influence you to see good in people. Yes, people can do stupid things at times that comes with your maturity level and that is normal. But doing good and seeing good things should be constant. If your partner cannot support you in goodness, how can your partner support you in the bad times? 3. Forgiveness is a choice. It has it's own time. Do not force it. And if you are ready to give it, remember to give and let go. It is not required to let them in again. Peace of mind is far more important than making peace if you are not ready. I also broke up with my best friends this year because of 2 different reasons (2 best friends) kaya I cried watching this, I miss them. But there are reasons why things happen. I just have to move on. 🥺 To anyone that has not experienced, FO sa best friend feels like a break up sa jowa. Sakit at sobrang sayang.😥

This comes close to my heart. I had a best friend named Carl. He's openly gay and we got super close in pandemic. I'm from Laguna and he's from metro manila but he visits here if it's vacation time or Holliday. So we will chat and vc everytime. In pandemic I discovered bisexuality and that suits me. I told my ate and him his they are the only ones who know, so you know close we are. While I'm vc-ing him he says he wanted to buy a vape and I advices him that we're still young and it had nicotine. I jokingly said I will told his mother that he plans to buy a vape, then he retaliated and said he will out me (I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW WHAT HIS PARENTS NAME BECAUSE I NEVER MET THEM!!!) I unfriended him so I can cool off then forgive him next day. Instead of apologizing like a normal person, he doxxed my old account and posted it on his story, I chatted him and I said to him to take it down (which he complied) and starting apologizing and at that time I just completely blocked him. Then when Christmas break starts pumunta sya ng Laguna and just I ignored him. Little did I know he outed me to our circle of friends to make him the angel. I just know that he outed me when my friend joy and Kate said it to me. And I will never forgive you Carl M.

Let the Karma do on its own. I am one of those situation that you had. Few people had outed me and that makes me to distant myself from them. But guess what, whenever I distant myself from those people.. The same situation are keep crawling back to me but from different individuals. That is why, I do felt that this is my shadow work, that we need to face to help us grow as a person. Coz everytime that you are scared or anxious.. It attracts the negative vibes from the universe.. and pouring to your soul and mental health. People will always have the tendency to rain on your parade.. but then, let just dance in the rain, if that matters. 🤗

It’s been a month since I last saw my closest ex-friend. I was hurt so many times but tried to understand that maybe it’s just because she’s taklase at di iniisip muna mga sinasabi niya. I forgave her many times kahit wala akong nareceive na sorry sa part niya because I treasured our friendship so much I tried to save it. Until one day, I realized I had enough. I realized that while I am trying to save our friendship, ako yung walang peace of mind, ako yung nagsuffer. Masakit pero sometimes in order for us to heal, we need to give up some relationships. The hardest part? Moving on. It always breaks my heart whenever I hear her name.

Basing from comments, I think we sometimes forget the power of forgiveness. We’re capable of that more than we think. Siguro it’s the Filipino value system in me din speaking but anyway.. I never liked siguro the concept of falling out and just making it another case of this or that. End of the day, unique parin ang friendship niyo and walang rulebook naman. (but yes may exceptions and absolutes pa rin) Ofc di lang halata sa vid na to, and agree na guarded talaga vibes nila (esp Angela). Pero I wouldn’t dismiss the chance that they could be friends again. Siguro not the same as before, but friends nonetheless. Parang love transformed lng. Anyway, dumaldal lng. @@whygee4921 actually romanticized lang talaga ang topic ng love for partners. Most people would expect you to handle "less dramatically" the pain caused by a friend, a parent, a child, in your case - work, or whoever we suddenly invest our emotion on to. For some, kahit acquaintance nga lang eh. That's why I really like the fact that many studies warn us not to invalidate one's feelings. Because regardless how other people sees your reaction, it is only you who really knows your truth. Hindi ka OA. People just don't understand and share the same importance na ininvest mo sa work mo. They will make you feel na you are not handling your reaction well. It's just stereotyping. But, you know what? Release it. And if necessary, be intentional - to stay away from things that are causing you pain.

I have 2 ex best friends and it hurts kase ako lang yung nag rereach out and they never responded na... pero atleast ngayon, alam ko na.. na they are good with their lives without me. Ang tanging kasalanan ko lang ay ang maging mahirap.. di ko kase masabayan mga gala nila, mga naabot nila sa buhay, at ako lagi yung humihingi ng tulong... kaya it's like they got tired of me... I have my own achievements naman, I became a mother, I landed on my dream job but not that high paying pero I am happy. But its like hindi yun enough para sa kanila.. Dapat katulad nila na nakakapunta sa Bora, may sariling bahay at sasakyan.. So they were never happy for my success kase hindi katulad ng naabot nila. It just goes to show that we have different perspectives in life na and does not meet halfway anymore, so its just better na hindi na kami maging friends...

I wish I had real friends. I was never the favorite, and because of that I've unconsciously created a boundaries to everyone. It's so easy for me to trust, but easier to be left out. I've found friendship to older co-workers but I'm longing for someone my age whom I can talk to everytime.

Can relate to everything in this -,- . It's only been half a month but the pain mine left me felt like it got months worth of stress, whatever negative emotions ...now I got major trauma 🙂 I only wish to be rid of these emotions and move on... They say we should forgive those who hurt us even if they're not really aware of the impact they had on our lives or how much pain they inflicted (Cue Good 4 u) Honestly a part of me wishes she and I never happened. Happy Memories & past promises now only cause me grief and anguish with the mere reminder of them. Specially since I don't think I got a proper closure 🙂 With ate leo and ate angela... I just wish you could both end up at peace whatever the outcome of your friendship going forward would be 😊

I had a close friend before (as in super close na tinuring ko ng kapatid) but we drifted apart due to some reasons. From best friends to strangers. It was painful on my part because she's like a sister to me and I really value her. Also, I love being with her (there's this euphoric feeling when we are together). I miss you so much my alter-ego. Hope you're well wherever you are. Maybe in a parallel universe we're still best friends.
