In today’s video, we share our unexpected journey from a single viral tiny house tour to being kicked out of the RU-vid Partner Program due to our hiatus from posting. As a couple in our late 20’s, embarking on a dream to save for a year-long road trip with our dog Cliff, we found ourselves caught up in the whirlwind of work and preparations, leaving little time for RU-vid. You’re the best!! We are down to almost no food now, just a few cans left under our seat! They are really good, we totally forgot to film what they looked like after the sun went down but we sauté some tofu and mashed chickpeas, season the heck out of it, then wrap it in rice paper and air fry it! We’re going to perfect the recipe share it in the future!

It’s such a grind honestly! Unless you can get one to really take off, these videos that do about 1,000 views are only bringing us 30-50 hours of watch time so it’s such a slow gain but were giving it our best go! We’re also motivated by the fact that we will have these videos to look back on later on in life! Is it 3,000 because you were monetized before? I couldn’t monetize my channel until I hit 4,000. It’s crazy though how a couple videos can be all it takes!

Thanks for watching!! Don’t quote me on this but I believe that when they added in the monetization from Shorts, they reduced the hours and subscriber for long form videos! We didn’t know how good we had it but now we’re averaging 50 hours a video so we’re grinding away! -Cody

Yes!! We totally forgot to share what they looked like once they were finished! But we sauté some tofu and a can of chickpeas, season the heck out of it, then wrap it in rice paper and air fry it! We’ve tried it twice, have some perfecting to do but we will share the recipe once we do!
