Is your Harvest Right trays upside-down? The orange should be above your trays and your trays should be on the metal shelf. Sorry if I saw that wrong. I have a Harvest Right and love it.
I think your place is a lightning magnet because those trees out front appear to be locust trees! My Daddy always said that locust get struck more than other trees and around here they do.
It is strange that you should say that…my childhood home got stuck by lightning and we had a locus tree…it didn’t get hit that I remember but was in the path.
I never cook with those bags in my slow cooker, I worry about leaching into my food from plastic. So many chemicals. I wish sometimes I did use them when I go to do clean up, lol.
I guessed 17 on the freezer dryer. I'm picking my garlic this weekend. My first year growing it. I'm so excited. If it rains much more, us Kentuckians are going to need an ark!
We lived in a house for several years that got hit all the time. It would burn out wiring in the house every time we turned around. And it was because of the minerals in the ground. Our neighbors house got it too. We ended up moving. You can also make a pesto with your garlic scapes.
I have a sink, that can be set into a frame, to use for an outdoor garden station, if you're interested in it. It's a corner sink, 2 sided, if you're interested.
Have you ever thought about getting a lightning rod put away from the house so that the the lightning-rod attracts the lightning instead of you and your house and your plants and so on. My grandfather said that iron attracts lightning so that might be the mineral if your high in iron it attracts lightning

We got struck also 2x in 8years . 1st time hit our tree our property- a month ago it hit our chimney and came down the pipe - went across our living room & hit our daughter's memorial curio cabinet. But the worst part my husband was sleeping in recliner 2 feet from our curio cabinet- So home owners has to put in new wood burning box *& pipe along with all the rock around it and our daughters memorial curio cabinet the glass was busted . Very scary issue. All this can b replaced but not my husband's life. Thank goodness. God bless you all Mrs Josette Montgomery County, Texas 🙏 ❤
I’m thinking some tortellini in your salad. 😍😍😍 I’m not even hungry & I’m drooling over your lunch. Isn’t this Kentucky weather amazing??? My tomatoes & comfrey have exploded!!! I am so thankful God let me retire here!!!! Blessings to y’all, debby
Please send the rain our way! We have had hardly any rain in months and even when it did a few days ago it was merely a drizzle. The drought was tough last year. I really hope it doesn't repeat itself again. The cauli's looked fab!
We bought a freeze dryer last week using your affiliate link! Saw how you froze your excess milk! That’s what sold me!! Waiting for it to be delivered! Praise YAHUAH
I have a son that has been struck about 3 or 4 times. It knocked him to the ground! Scary! He was in different places each time. No idea what causes it. Very glad it wasn’t a direct hit. Another son has had the misfortune of caring for some children on the beach as an EMT. The lightening was miles away, but it sure did get them and they were not even in the water, so beware. Much love, be blessed!
I dont have a freeze dryer but I dehdrated some of my garlic scapes and they turned out great. Also did a couple of jars of pickled scapes. Waiting to try them for a few weeks.
If you do a search, some pretty interesting facts about metals/ iron ore/shale/ trees comes up about lightning strikes. I would add, higher amount of transformers on powerlines too. I frequently see specific ones get struck in certain parts of town. Perhaps you have all 3+ taller trees, iron, water, transformers near you? Hope you have & check your surge protectors on your electrical box. If you lose power, they wear out over frequent strikes. The plug in ones don't last at all. Should be replaced after each surge on anything of value.
You’re cool crop vegetables cauliflower and cabbage will not flower if you tie leaves. They will grow massively you pull up the leaves and wrap them with a rubber band or string
I grew up in Ohio where we had an auqifer under the whole area. There was always lightning. Everyone knew to not go outside during storms. When I moved to kY my husband thought I was crazy lol . I bet you have lots of water . Or Id talk to an electrician and make sure your house has a proper grounding rod.
The only brassicas I was able to get were chard and Kale..everything else bolted.. it got hot pretty quick here in Eastern Nebraska but the drought is definitely not helping. Been seeing these strong stoms down your way praying you guys stay safe..if yall could pray for rain for us we'd all appreciate it. Love your channel ❤ I'd guess 14 hours
We got hit and fire police showed up. Affected about 4 houses. Fire guys said because we were hit we were more prone to being hit, something drew the lightening. I could skip it.
You said it right cause I know what ya mean, lol, say it in 2 syllables? kala mata. Not sure that’s right but how my Italian husband says it but their from NYC SO A WHOLE DIFFERENT ITALIAN! Lol, and think I think those olive maybe Greek! Lol, 😂✌🏻🙏🏼❤️
