Maybe stop pressing so many fucking buttons? You enter, press the level you wish to go to and wait. You don't press the level, and then seconds later press 3 more.
I would die of closterphobia (sorry about mispelling) I can't go in any type of elevators without hyperventilating. There's always been something about elevators I can not stand. They are my worst fear ever
For the people saying "Don't mess with it" jesus alteast do research before commenting.. you see, elevators are DESIGNED to have buttons pressed. People come in and out of elevators very frequently, which would've been no different to this video. It failed because it was old, a modern lift most likely WOULDN'T fail, regardless of button pressing. These are elevator enthusiasts, they like them and that's why they ride it multiple times, not because they wanted it to fail. They laugh because getting stuck in a lift isn't the end of the world, emergency services can and will help you.
Here in this case was the laziness of the Tüv guilty, the shaft had been grumbling so the door had gotten caught in the cabin and it should have been taken out of operation. --But that building will soon be demolished
Gächa F they were pushing buttons and playing around with the elevator and just so you know elevators aren’t made to be played with so it is their fault so you get a grip
I am starting to get pissed off by people like you. “tHiS iS wHy yOu tAkE tHe sTaiRs” Lifts work like 95% of the time and if you don't muck about then you are probably going to be fine. And if you get stuck you have an extremly low chance of getting hurt if you just stay calm and wait INSIDE; don't try to escape because that is how most people get killed. Also *LIFTS DON'T FREEFALL!* I am sick of people thinking lifts freefall because they don't. The chance of a lift freefalling is so slim you have a higher chance of winning the lottery 10X in a row than freefalling in a lift. Also thousands of people fall and die in stairs per year meanwhile only like 100 people per year die in lifts and that is mostly just in china and other places that don't have good regulations. Anyways, please stop commenting “this is why i take the stairs”
I’ve had this so many times, I think like 15 times in 15 different elevators. Especially at train-stations, that sucks when your train departs in 10 minutes 😂😂😂 Luckily the elevators are way newer now!
Sehr gut reagiert!
One time I was at the mall with my family, went to an elevator like this one but a little bit bigger. And then came a bunch of other people, the thing is that were A LOT and this same thing happened. When the door opened and all I saw was the fricken wall I swear my heart stopped beating for a few seconds and I started crying. I was like 9 so yeah. Anyways that’s why I can’t ride elevators alone because if I’m alone and I get stuck I probably have pass out of a panic attack.
There’s no worry to get stuck in the lift. As it shows the demonstration what to do when the lift is stuck, on the panel, if no one responds then you try to escape using the door operator but I forgot what to do because I don’t remember how to escape a lift using the operator. Mostly you just press the stop button again and just press another floor that’s closest where the lift is stuck. If that doesn’t work also, just push the doors close really hard in order to start working again.
when i ws 10 (now im 11) i was stuck in a elevetor alone, without phone, Anything, when i clicked the emergy buton the eleetor startet to free fall from teh 2th floor and stopped at teh last moment, from that time i dont use the elevetors
Where did this happen? Like what type of elevator and building? Hydrolic or roped elevator if you know. How many total floors in that building? Must have been scary.
Der wurde mittlerweile leider umgebaut also vielen Dank fürs filmen und hochladen wenn ihr unterwegs auch eine kleine Panne hattet wenn noch alles im original Zustand ist geht mir immer das Herz auf
Don't ever fuck with the buttons while the elevators in motion that's what caused it to malfunction cause the elevator looks very old while the elevator was stuck on that floor you should have left it alone and give it time to reset itself the more you fuck with it the more it's going to malfunction I don't care if your a kid or not use common sense next time you ride an elevator
Sorry, but a lift has to handle such situations. I rather believe that here modernization or lack of maintenance was the trigger of the malfunction. Maybe the repairman just had to reboot the system or a relay broke down or a fuse has blown. In any case, this was not an operator error
Ludvig Frestadius it happened to me forel in an elevator in a hospital i pressed a button then it when in between the floors and wouldnt move i had to get help
Sehr gut reagiert!
This is extremely unsafe to try leaving on your own. Normally there are safety breakers so the elevator won't move, but you can never be sure of machine, it can get broken in no time. Personally I'd maybe do the same, but he was with child so he took the whole thing responsibly.
I WAS THE SAME BRU I CALLED MY MOM AND BURST INTO TEARS I WAS LIKE 10 THEN I CALLED 911 AND CRIED WORSE but thankfully I got a hack that will make elevator work in seconds but it only works on elevators with a 2 handle doors and 1 door to push lollll
Mads Jam, the reason why they did it is because old elevators are very well made, other than new elevators. They're pretty enchanting too. If it's maintained well. You see, this elevator could have been not maintained for some time, and got stuck. Elevators make errors, just like humans. Nothing's perfect.
Edit: This is a year after but that’s scary but be more careful doing these stuff it isn’t really safe to play with elevators like this. Stay safe people!
OMG!! This is terrifying! It’s like a bad dream come true! I don’t know why, but every once in a while, I have a bad dream about being stuck in an elevator that breaks down. I’ve never actually had it happen in real life and I don’t know anyone it’s happened to either. That was hair raising when I saw that creepy looking wall when the door opened!
One time i was with my little brother and sister, we were in an elevator when we decided to all jump at the same time. When we did that, we heard the brakes kick in and a loud screech along with the trouble bell (goes off when somethings wrong). About 10 minutes later the electrition reset the elevator and we were just fine.
Reason for it is beacuse when you jumped it sensed that "elevator was falling" but it wasnt, you just triggered brakes. With simple system reset it deletes all of error codes
If i was stuck at elevator: Calling 911/parent and then playing games (in my phone),wait for a minutes and get out If i was stuck and not bringing phone: Peed my pants.
*HOW MANY FUCKING TIMES DO I FUCKING NEED TO TELL YOU IDIOTS THAT THIS IS ELEVATOR PHOTOGRAPHY THE ARE NOT FUCKING MESSING AROUND. YOU DUMBED DOWN IDIOT*
@@nelsonahlvik6650 there are plenty of videos showing the exact situation that the person’s comment described. it’s definitely possible for it to move with the doors open
@@lexie7723 Of course it's possible, everything is possible, but it is very rare. For example, aeroplane crashes happen very rarely, but there are still plenty of videos talking about them.
@@lexie7723no it cant move with outter door open, when you open outter dor it breaks safety circuit of autter dor and it will not start hydraulic generator until door is closed. I work on hydraulic elevators and i know that it cant move with outter door open
I have never been a fan of elevators, Because of this reason.. Every time I get on one I always hold on to the Medal Railing that sits on the side, This one time I was at Barnes and noble and they have this little elevator in the corner, Now where I live Barnes and Noble has two floors, So instead of taking the escolar I took the elevator so what happened was I was on the first floor of Barnes and Noble and I was freaking out at the time because I’ve never taken this elevator before so I hit number 2 and I clench onto the railing so I can’t keep myself together and all of the sudden I just feel this Thud as if someone jumped up and used gravity it’s self to push up the elevator, So now I’m freaking out and just staring at the screen that shows your current floor number! Now at this time I did have my phone on me so if the elevator did stop I had someone to contact, So I type in 911 just in case, Fast forward 10 seconds and the doors open to the second floor, I step to get off and THE THING goes down again! The doors still open and everything so I legit have to leap to the second floor.. But yeah.. It turns out that someone hit the button for the elevator for the first floor and the elevator thought I was off.. But I still don’t like that elevator because of that thud.. but erm, Yes that was my story :D
