I’ve been watching your short videos for years. I enjoy watching your build. You are getting more confident with this project. It’s clean, professional looking.
I know hindsight is 20/20, but I would have lifted the rear-end up over the frame, turned it to drop it in, then turn it again to line it up :) You guys are doing an amazing job. Cant' wait to see this in person when you are done!
Looking F'n awesome Shaun... 👍🏻 You're roll cage idea of following the rear roof slope would look awesome... but brother I'd look at the structural strength straight down vs sloped... know what I mean... But hey looks real good and by the time you're done she gonna be a 6 second car... blow the doors off the stang... ❤❤
If you don't want the expense of powercoat , which we have not had much luck with btw- we use por 15 and a top coat for uv protection- cost much less . Getting the whole frame clean enough for a really good powder-coat job is very difficult . Or, you can just give it a good wash with eastwood rust remover ( a light acid) after wax and grease remover , epoxy primer and paint it, last about as long as powder - fwiw. Blessings
Id put everything on that chassis before i set the body back on it like complete finish you can get measurement without setting the body on n off the chassis and it needs to be lowered considerably
It's really just bad timing, it's probably wrong to subscribe to a channel and then make statements like this but you got a really nice rear end. Enjoying the show.
Folks, can we not chip in and sort our Shaun out with a lift? It would make life a helluva lot easier for him. Good to see you perked up and full of inspiration once the axle went in..
Projects like this take a long time and its easy to get to a point of feeling like its not going anywhere, then you make a large change and it re-invigorates you.
