This is probably the cheapest commercial Harbor Freight has done and probably the best one too. I bet they make their money back on this shipment in days from just this video.

Harbour Freight understands that for the cost of sending out a few pallets of tools to someone with a decent following for free will generate significantly more sales for them

Been on Dewalt for decades… I just started switching over to Milwaukee for the increased range of tools. I am going to try the Harbor Freight line. Really like how they are treating y’all. Love the letter from the lawyer… thanks for the great content…

I was initially VERY worried because I just ordered a new Series 3 bottom and top box in green and I was scared they might have released it in purple (the best of the colors IMO), but glad to see they are taking care of creators that can showcase the heat Harbor has been bringing lately! For anyone at harbor freight that might be reading the comments; PURPLE, we want purple tool boxes!!

Unfortunately I’m in way to deep with Milwaukee and I’m not turning back. But I’m glad there’s another quality tool brand making strides into the major trades of construction and not mainly placed into the mechanic world. Looks like a quality made tool I would like to see how they fair week after week 12 hour days.

Im a bit of a power tool nut and I can say with confidence most cheap-ish in house tool brands these days are mostly head to head in performance AND durability and longevity with DeWalt. Hercules tools look well build, great warranty, all brushless which is a plus I DO NOT recommend getting any brushed cordless tools: Its much easier to burn out a brushed motor, the are more inefficient, the power output is always lower than a brushless tool and you inevitably wear away the brushes and your tool is then dead. With good brands like Makita, Metabo, Bosch Professional you can get new brushes ofc but when a motor went trough a set of brushes its at the end of its life anyways (commutator wears away too). Its ok to get a brushed tool when its an application where you will not have a ton of runtime hours and the tool runs at a low-ish constant speed and cannot be overstressed or stalled like a drill, grinder or saw. So lawnmowers, blowers, garddening tools, vaccum cleaners are fine those can be brushed and will be ok in the long run. Some thoughts on brands: Milwaukees M18 lineup is overkill in terms of power BUT build quality and longevity is honestly pathetic for such an omnipresent brand. Milwaukee maxes their 18V tools out right to the limit to get the power figures ahead of the competition but sacrifices longevity. Also their tools are all made in china, they use cheap short lived bearings in all tools and save on internal components more than they should. Getting spare parts for a Milwaukee tool is a joke they love to sell you whole assemblies with are priced too high and not worth it. Also electronics problems are the norm for Milwaukee. Battery get pretty sloppy with wear too. Everything that can be said about Milwaukee also counts for DeWalt does that too but DeWalt is cheaper too but its still a non recommendation because once the warranty runs out and you break an expensive tool it may not be repairable which is unacceptable. DeWalt FlexVolt 54V is also to be avoided since the batterys are notoriously unreliable. Id recommend DeWalt over Milwaukee because Milwaukee is not worth spending extra on. Makita is probably one of the most solid tool brands out there both their 18V and 40V line is mostly very reliable. Makita supplys most spare parts for a very good price. Makita is not all made in china, their more expensive specialty tools are made in japan even! They use good quality name brand components, their tools are designed with the useability and longevity over sheer power and the pricing is good. You can pick out a few bad apples as with every brand but their 40V and 2x18V tools are rock solid. The 18V lineup contains some tools that are not so great like their 18V drywall saw which is brushed when it really should be brushless. Makita batterys last long and are reliable, their battery retention system is really well thought out I never had a Makita tool in my hands with a loose battery or a battery thats gotten hard to remove and put in because of dirt and grit. They use rubber elements to tightly retain the battery its not just hard plastic on hard plastic and they use steel strips in the battery slot on high vibration tools to prevent the battery from wearing away the plastic clampshell housing. Smooth polished steel is a lot better on the batterys too since its a less abrasive surface than glass fiber reinforced plastic one that wears and exposes the galss fiber its really abrasive.

Not gona lie, I am one of the Harbor Freight tool haters, but I am pretty impressed with the Hercules line. And even more impressed by that tool chest. That thing is badass

I have had two Hercules batteries and tools. I no joke pulled it all out and immediately went to work with them and never charged the batteries. I finished the job I was doing right as the batteries died and I charged them both and then used them for almost two years off and on doing maintenance on my vehicles and just charged them again. Being military I don’t use these tools nearly as much as I would like. But I can genuinely say that these tools are “under promised” but way over delivered!

I imagine somebody has already mentioned it, but those 4.0 amp power batteries are higher end than the other ones. They have better cells in them.

Nice haul! I'm not a professional, but grew up in a hardware store and have been around tools all my life. I find myself more and more impressed with Harbor Freight, especially the Hercules line.

I do have to say🔥🔥 harbor freight has completely changed the tool industry great tools at affordable prices. Example a 8ah battery 200+ from a name brand hf is $100 using the same Samsung cells, that is crazy.

The Harbor Freight tool box is a great purchase for anyone looking to upsize. Every weekend I’m using a product from them and no problems

I love my harbor freight, I get a kick out of most people make fun of their tools, but there's 2 items you see in a lot of shops around the country and a lot of wreckers and trailers side by sides off road jeeps and so on. Is the Badland winches, and the US general tool boxes. Myself I by most all my tools at HF now let's not misunderstand there is definitely a few items that don't stand up and is a waste of money but out of all the tools I have purchased over the years I'd say I'm about 98% satisfied. I don't know a whole lot about the Hercules line as most of my power tools are Bauer and I tell ya what no complaints there at all... and the fact that HF did what they did for you guys says alot in today world... awesome stuff and video thanks for sharing

Those Torx bits with the holes in them... The security bits. They're used (from my experience) in Scientific Atlanta and Jerrold cable converters. They keep the plastic cases on the metal chassis. There might be an automotive use, but I've not seen one yet.

As a Class 8 Mechanic, We will be switching over to Harbor Freight over the tool truck brands and the “Red” brand. No of those guys would ever entertain what @HarborFreightTools just did! Congrats on the setup !

Hercules 4/8/12 amp hour batteries are made with 21700 cells and are tremendously powerful and effective for high output use for extended periods. For high output, you need something with double stacks of cells, so 5+ amp hours

NGL, Ryno convinced me into the Milwaukee lineup about 9 or 10 years ago. I'll probably stick with Milwaukee because I'm into deep with their tools, but I do have a growing number of tools and accessories from HF like the Badlands offroad 3 ton jack and the bandsaw mount like in this video. It's nice to see a company like HF be proactive with their current and potential customers. I always receive their promotional emails and they always got good deals.

Love Harbor Freight. I've abused their basic sockets in my air impact for years and no issues. I finally picked up the impacts, but it's nice knowing those sockets are that tough.

Problem with the double charger is you have to take the pad out if you put the big batteries on them or you can’t close that door of the toolbox.

Ive always bought Harbor Fright tools here and there but now it will be exclusively they hold up extremely well great warranty and customer service is top notch.

The Hercules tools are badass, absolutely can not beat the prices. Especially on the batteries. Most of the time they have the deal to buy a charger and battery for 100 dollars and get a free tool. I have used both the red and yellow brands. These tools are definitely on the same level. Harbor Freight has definitely been amping up their game. I’ve been using tools from them for 20 plus years.

Im always buying stuff from Harbor freight. From tarps to Pittsburgh wrenches. Recently bought the cargo platform for the truck hitch. Drove from NY to GA with a bunch if stuff on it. Didnt think it would hold up for the price. worth every penny. Love it.

I started buying the red brand cause of you but prior I got the cheapest harbor freight stuff I could and not gonna lie I’m happy switching back now that the quality matches or beats the bang for the buck. I was smiling watching this opening.

That's a really nice setup! Makes me want to go to the newish Harbor Feight store in my town and get a cabinet. My dad has tools, but they're all over the place and he's pretty old now and doesn't use them but I do and it's frustrating trying to find things in the garage.

I really like harbor freight. They have some good stuff. And because of your recommendation Ryan, I bought some Hercules products and they’ve been nothing but amazing! I love my little stubby Hercules impact driver. I use it daily and battery lasts forever.

I have the series 2 us general 44” tool box in my farm shop last few years and it’s been great. Bought the Ikon snap ring pliers and used them on replacing Ball joints on two trucks. They have been great.

Been a dewalt guy my whole life, but i just recently switched over to the new hercules brushless line.

Ask harbor freight when they are coming to Alaska. Costco is up here and from what I have seen their prices are the same up here as the lower 48. Maybe harbor freight could do the same thing. All we have is Home Depot, Lowe’s and Amazon.

So I will say that since seeing your video when you featured them at SEMA, I have been waiting for some of their newest tool boxes to hit the stores, and I recently bought one. I can honestly say that I am overly impressed with it. I’m not even a mechanic, I build extremely high end RC cars. And ever since getting my tool box, now my father is going to get their newest big set like you guys got in this video. He is not a mechanic either. He just wants to clean up our garage. He will be getting the huge bottom, top, and two lockers because he likes mine so much. I’m including a pic of mine. But also, I want harbor freight to know that I purchased mine because I saw the SEMA thing on your channel. I can’t ever see purchasing something like that from SnapOn with the quality and value of the new boxes they just released. The accessories that you can purchase for them like the paper towel racks, surge protectors, etc, that are even color matched are awesome too. Never was a fan of the red brand and I don’t personally own any of their tools. But wow did harbor freight come through in this one! I’ve been happy with the tools I’ve purchased from them. Awesome tool set you have there!

I don’t use tools at all, don’t work in a trade that requires them but after watching this video i will definitely only buy harbor freight. Especially the Hercules series.

I used to work in residential construction, I always used Milwaukee. Still have my stuff. I work in a different profession now but will always work on residential for personal reasons. I’ll never buy Milwaukee again. If a company can’t understand good free marketing and go after their supporters you lost my respect. I’ll just get the harbor freight stuff now that I just use it for personal anyways. Thanks harbor freight for being for the every man

Here’s something fun, I like going to Harbor Freight and I do like some of the brands and I do buy a lot stuff from Harbor Freight but my wife is a Harbor Freight fanatic and absolutely loves Harbor Freight and the tarps they sell and sometimes giveaway. She could spend thousands of dollars in that store on stuff will use and stuff we’ll never use. She is a Harbor Freight Addict.

As a homeowner, I have 99% Harbor Freight products. The only item to fail on me so far has been the Green Garden Hose 100ft length. Other than that, I only use Bauer line of power tools, Portland Pressure Washer, everything Garden related. My local Harbor Freight employs many good people and they love working there - I have asked them.
