if someone who went to a place such as iraq told me something like that , and they didn't have footage I would still tend to believe it could be very likely to be true , however the video reflect this insane situation perfectly . they are lucky it was "just" a scammer of that type and not anything worse such as a kidnapper who would want ransom for them or a terrorist that could do worse .

I’m watching it and it’s clearly happening, but it still gave me this feeling… hard to describe, kinda like that uncanny valley feeling when you see a weird human-like image that’s almost perfectly accurate, but it’s just off enough to make your lizard brain immediately concerned and know something isn’t right, haha. Among all the other videos that I enjoyed, this one was a bit frustrating, because of this Ahmad guy, he’s a liar, the kids weren’t saying anything bad, the guy in the red t shirt at the beginning was incredibly nice and friendly and there wasn’t anything suspicious about him! Ahmad has a very toxic personality, the way he was shutting you guys down at the taxi was disrespectful, the way he confronted the Afghani guy and the way he’s touching him was intimidating! He’s bragging about being an officer, as if he’s a god! He’s an example of some Arab men personally, acting as if they’re protecting you but in fact they’re controlling you. it's the same mentality as mafia people taking protection money , they will claim that they are "protecting you from the bad people out there" only that they are the people you need protection from , because if you don't pay they will burn your buisness down or send death threats to you. I wish more people in the arab world will condemn this behaivior and distance themselves from it, and also that people in other parts of the world will do the same

I’m still trying to figure this one out. The guy spent a TON of money of these guys. Those suites were not cheap, that restaurant didn’t look cheap. This was not a scam as one thing you can count on with scammers is they are 9.9 times out of ten not spending any of their own money (if they have any).

I’ve been in the Middle East a few times for business (Saudi, Oman, Pakistan..) and the “exagération” of facts about this or the other was such a common thing. Not everyone does it. But many do, and because of that, it was very difficult to do business there, you never knew if they were lying, saying the truth, exagerating…. It was painful doing business, but such nice and lovely people overall. It’s great to see in your video that things are so much better in Bagdad.

1. Ahmed wanted you to think this man he took you to was a Pious man because he was praying but most likely he went in the house and said “act like you’re praying “ LOL SUS!! Because you wouldn’t just interrupt someone’s prayers. He would have waited until he finish praying. 2. He should know that offering you the chips and then snatching them back was extremely rude.
