Congratulations! I'm a couple years into being a dad myself and the sleep never comes back. You just forget what good, non-parent sleep feels like. Its like when people say "we're living in hell" and you think "yeah, we are aren't we? I forgot we're in hell, its just feels normal now." Not to scare you. There's benefits for sure. F--- what I would give to sleep like a bachelor again, though lol.
