Joyce, that looks absolutely delicious. I think I will try this one real soon. You are both so brave. I would be making a fool out of myself if I was near an alligator. Great video!!!
OMG! My mouth is watering 😊 Love ❤️ the girly pigtails Joyce. Darn alligator 🐊 Sam great catch for an awesome meal 🍽️ today Sam and Joyce you make my day 😘
Glad you got away from that gator. Joyce, that crab omelet looked delicious! Sam you deserved that great meal for picking the crab meat. You two are a wonderful team!!
You two people always seem to attract the alligators 🐊. Excellent show!! I enjoyed it immensely. Wish I could eat some of Joyce’s cooking. I guess I’ll just keep dreaming 😆
maybe some day she can freeze and ship some of her meals, as extra income, but ONLY if its fun for her to do as it will bring lots of happiness to folks like you and me. 😊
at 4:44 , that guy, Mike, looks like he had a nice strong hand shake. i bring it up because so many young “men” now days have a soft squishy hand shake and i walk away like Jimmy Stewart did on “its a wonderful life” when he shook Mr. Potter’s hand. 😂. oh, and i am facebook friends with the real “zuzu” from the movie.. she is a super sweet lady. her real name is Karolyn Grimes (yes, with a K)
me again.. i have learned that vinegar cuts any fishy smells but butter in the water (if boiled) really helps the meat come out clean, be it blue crab or alaskan crab legs..
Your recipes are restaurant worthy! I think, "Joyce's Kitchen" "Cooking with Crab" sounds like a place on the Bayou many people would go to eat 2-3 times a week!! Thanks for these great videos!
I told Joyce that, she could be working in her restaurant all day while I'm out in the boat fishing, crabbing and shrimping. She didn't like the idea lol. Thanks a lot for Watching our videos
Good afternoon, Sam and Joyce. One time fishing over by Mosquito Lagoon in FL, we had a scary encounter with a gator, just brought back memories. Well you kids have a great day and thank you for taking time to make these videos we all love. 😊
I'm so glad to have run across your channel. I love crabbing and I enjoy watching you two very much. You are such a joy to watch! Joyce, your meals always look delicious. I subbed you today.
My favorite crabbing couple be joining the crabbing community when we move back east to SC being from NY I miss crabbing off of Jones Beach Island in the summer that and Toms River, I remember filling up a garbage can full and going back home and giving our extra’s away to our neighborhood small merchant’s. My brother in law owned a home on the water in Copiague and many a day we just crabbed of his boat slip and others when wanted guy time we took the boat out. Those were the days. Another thing we did since we fished all summer was catching tuna, stripers, flounders, weakfish,Fluke bringing some back to the local restaurants we frequented and we’d trade some of our catch usually stripers and they would gladly cook us a fabulous meal and with a great bottle of wine. Those were the days. We paid for fuel if we had great days was buy running out to the International line where the Japanese trawlers would pay us cash for our catch. Of course we kept some for us and the party began as soon as we tied her off.
Those were the good old days I also remember them. Not many regulations like now and plenty of fish and crab. We wish you good luck with your move and Thanks for Watching our videos
That omelet looked delicious! Glad to see a couple my age still enjoying the great outdoor fishing/crabbing. Great video, looking forward to the next one.
Joyce the best chef in the world would be envious of that wonderful meal that you created. Love seeing all of your videos. Huge fan here in middle Tennessee.
What a treat folks. Now that’s a new twist on cooking up grab meat. you guys must have your foot all the way down on the Excelerator. You are picking up at least 200 new subscribers a week. You folks certainly are worth it.❤🎉
First time watching your videos. Much joy watching you two having fun together. People use crab snares around here in the west coast videos i usually watch. Probably not necessary since you are catching so many.
6:00 the crabs you guys say are little look at least 5-5.5 to me. I don’t keep anything under 5 obviously but it seems y’all throw back crabs under 6. I measure with a tape measure every time
@@TheOldCoupleOutdoors it would seem to me that you’re shoveling fire right now it was 100° here yesterday and 95° today very hot. I could imagine what Florida is Joyce cook from the sun right lol anyway I love you guys always watch you and always will.
We heard and saw you, Thanks. We left that spot and met up with our son and great granddaughter (we're that old lol) closer to the park and had a great day, we also caught some crab. It was nice seeing you and Thanks for Watching our videos
Hey Sam and Joyce, I would have left that area too. That was a big gator nothing small about him.. I was gonna go tomorrow crabbing, but looks like this weather is gonna rain all day. Sam, I was watching another RU-vid video of a guy crabbing. He's got a unique net that he Attaches.😢 to his fishing rod. I can't remember his name right now. But I'm gonna try to get his link and send it to you to watch pretty neat trap hes got that you put on the end of your fishing rod. I like it cause sometimes you need to get out. Just a little farther to get the bigger crabs. Anyway, glad you guys had a great day. Iove seeing another video take care.
Ed, I think I might have seen that video, it looks like two pieces of wire mesh hinged and when you pull it in it closes. I guess it's legal, I wanted to try snares but they're not legal in Florida. We sometimes use a heavy spinning rod and tie on a chicken leg and cast it to deeper water. We use that method in Pascagoula Mississippi in the winter when the crab move to the channel. Nice hearing from you
@@TheOldCoupleOutdoors your exactly right on the hinged wire mesh net. I really thought that was a great idea. The guy i watch that had it pretty much follows the rules so im thinking its legal. But im going to check it out. Another guy, I watched gotta bunch of wire basket crab traps and took his boat out to the edge of the channel and dropped them to the bottom and then tied a pool noodle and he would set 10 or 15 of those nets, then turn around and go back to the first one and pull them up 1 at A. Time. he got quite a few crabs doing that.
Hi guys. You have the most informative blue crab channel in YT. I'm coming down to FL in Nov to try my luck in the Tomoka river area again. I did well there last year. Did the hurricare Milton mess up the crabbing in that area recently?
It did mess the crabbing up, we were at Tomoka yesterday and didn't catch a crab. We're hoping they come back by November. It was the same with Merritt Island. I talked to a commercial crabber and he said he was catching crab so that's a good sign. We're going to set our big traps along the outside of the intercoastal and hopefully we'll have some luck. We hope you can get into them when you come down next month. Thanks for Watching our videos
I had some competition last time with the sea monsters…I caught an eel with the hand line who kept eating my bait. And I caught a huge turtle 🐢in the ring trap. Beautiful looking turtle. Oh and 17 🦀
New subscriber. Just love watching ya. I have family in New Smyrna Beach, how far is that from where ya live? I need to find a place if there r any in or around St. George's Island. Will be visiting this summer for a month.
me again… so, at 20:35 mins.. i came up with a super simple hollandaise sauce by just heating up some mayo, mustard, water, lemon juice and garlic powder using a whisk, and boom, its delish. give it a try.. i like to pause and comment as i watch your videos… and hey, youtube likes comments (it helps your channel) so i dont feel bad putting up extra comments when i feel i have something to say. 😅
How about do give away to your subscribers to win a chance to win a cooking and tasting with your cooking. I don't think Sam should not be the only one to enjoy Joyce's cooking (as husband he comes first but I think he would be willing to share. Yes?
Thanks and Thanks for Watching our videos. I bought the HUK hat for Joyce at West Marine because she liked the way it fit. I don't know why they're so popular. Thanks again
Hi Sam and Joyce I'm wondering when you're going to be throwing those shrimp Nets out is there a certain season that you are able to go shrimping and are you going to be using those crab traps soon I really enjoy your videos
