On our copper sulfate foot bath, we put a pvc pipe sleeve over the base of the steel , that way the water in the foot bath never touches the steel, cheap and easy to make 👍
That's what was done at the dairy here from what I understand you can't win with any type of metal due to galvanic corrosion which is two mixed types of metals touching in a solution at the end of the day copper sulfite still has copper molecules on it it was the cheapest fix as even stainless will corrode over time something about you can't stop electrolysis I hope I have my science right on this

Wouldn't help. It's behind him, when he is backing up the skid steer in the alley, so he wouldn't be able to see it. He mentioned painting a mark partway down the alley, at the point where he needs to start braking. That would be more help.

I like how you called your mishap with the wall as a "nick". That's like calling WW2 a " small disagreement ". Just to make sure the wall is safe, may I suggest reinforcing it with Kevlar, putting it in a titanium shell , and plating it with depleted uranium anti missile tank armor? PS: Has your dad ever thought of putting " bumper car rubber bumpers" on the skid steer for you?

Using concrete on the foot bath is the right move because you use copper sulfate which is a metal you have two dissimilar metals mixing together which gives you galvanic corrosion even if you just switch to stainless it would still eat away at it it would just take a lot longer concrete is your best bet
We have been having a heatwave in the UK too. More than two weeks of warm sunny weather, though still a bit of a morning frost. But we do not have all that snow and freezing temperatures. It is several years since we had less then -5C. We in England are enjoying daffodils. Glad you got your little 'nick' sorted. I have been looking at an experiment to potty train cows. There is a youtube video: Cows can be 'potty trained' in discovery which could help save the planet. But nothing about the cow pats. I am not sure that stainless steel will be the answer for Copper Sulphate. It will still produce ionisation. Need something with zero metal in it. It will mostly likely corrode the reinforcing in the concrete if that is metal, and the concrete will split.
Man, is there any way you can put a bit of a grade into those corals to drain the water away instead of having it build up into big puddles like that? Like, grade 'em out to the center and back, so the water runs away instead of pooling?

would it be useful to get a side mirror mounted to the skid steer to help in the future so accident doesn't happen again? Or maybe just some bright paint on a pole near the end that can see even if its foggy to help you know. or something like the railroads used to use and just dangle something down to like bang the roof of the cab to be like oh ok too close.
Jan. Have you seen these new Robotic manure scrapers that 10th Generation Dairyman has purchased? They are quite impressive. Maybe something similar could save you a bit of work too.
