I never comment on videos…. BUT as a young mom like you, I want to give you a hug Rissa 🥺 The “why me?” I felt it and felt it was right to say you’re doing ok mama. I can’t imagine how it feels coming from a vaginal delivery to a c-section but that doesn’t take away your strength as a woman or a mother. Advocate as you did! Lean on Quan! I love seeing Black women/WOC having support from black men/men of colour. You’re doing amazing and continue to be such a beacon of light for woman like myself and many others. I pray you always feel loved and happy, I pray that God blesses your family and that you continue to heal mentally and physically post pardum 🤍
Why you? God has the answer...but also, you bring light to situations...you share so much of your life with us and it's not in vain...you both are informative and open to share with us your journey....and we love it. Continue to advocate I love love love the fact that you weren't hesitant about getting a 2nd opinion. God bless you both on this journey.❤❤❤
As a nurse, I do know this is normal as you can have fluid build up, and the incision will reopen so, the fluid may escape. It will heal itself and close up. I had three c-section, and my last SX, the incision reopen but, I had staples instead of sutures. When showering just let the soapy water fall over it, keep the area nice and dry. Thank you Rissa for sharing this with us. ❤❤❤
@@jeanetteambersley9237 if there is build of fluid that needs to be release, it is normal to escape from a fresh incision that was just open, in the healing process. It is not abnormal that this happened. But she is good now, as it re-healed itself.
Aw I can tell this after labor and delivery process has been hard on her I can see it all in her face and how gentle she’s been. Just wanna hug her and let her know it will all be ok ❤️
Ris c.section I had 3 normal births but my sister had 3 sections oh they traumatised her stomach I'm living in Ireland good girl for going back to hospital just believe in god and he be Yr saviour ur so awsome the both of you are doing so well
Glad you’re okay Rissa! 🥰 My last C Section, my baby was a week old and I got an infection in my uterus and had to be hospitalized for a week. Thank God I made it!!! My son will be turning 22 years old. Praise God for your healing 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Take care of yourself! Glad you are listening to your body. Three weeks after my baby I was having weird back spasms and decided to go to the hospital. I’ve been in the hospital and rehab for 3 months away from my baby and family because I lost my ability to walk. Turns out I had a bad reaction to the epidural it damaged my spinal cord unfortunately. Glad I listened to my body because they were able to help me relearn walking and standing. I’m still struggling with walking. I get to go home this Thursday. So excited for the snuggles.
I have four cesarean section and I am still numb underneath my stomach. It was a small hole underneath my stomach and they still forgot a stitches inside and was hurting for years until I went to the doctor in Philadelphia where I was staying at and my doctor took it out and it felt so good every now and then I have to still clean it, but you Gotta keep it clean so it won’t smell I love you Rissa it’s gonna be all right baby I don’t know nothing about natural birth. I only know about cesarean sections. I love you and your family. You are my favorite, RU-vid channel and thank you for coming to my RU-vid channel and show me some love we are helplessness to one another. Jesus is King.❤❤❤❤❤
Sorry Rissa! I love ho strong you’re tho, and Quan is there to support you too… take it slow don’t stress yourself pls. I’m happy it’s not infected, you’re a warrior Rissa. You’re UNBREAKABLE! ❤
The way you Guys take time out to share your status with all you have going on is everything. Rissa, take it easy. A C-section is major surgery which required them to cut several layers of your skin to bring Baby Savi here, and it takes time to fully heal. I'm glad you Guys aired on the side of caution and went to the Doctor. Love you Guys!!
Keep it dry that’s what helped me! Use a towel while showering! I used honey on my scar tbh I had puss and asked what could I do and was told it was normal… honey is a natural antibiotic
Lots of prayers coming out Rissa. I had the same thing happen after my c-section. My doctor told me it was normal. I feel in my heart you will be fine. Still sending lots of prayers for you girl!!!
My prayers for Rissa, God's word, say you are healed through the sripes of Jesus. God, always keep his promise. You are definitely strong, Rissa. Take the time to recover. This is extremely important. I had a c-section with my second son. You will be back to your normal routine sooner than you know. Quan, you are a great future husband to Rissa and a great father to Shine and Saviour. We visualize the love you have for one another, Robert's family. The Angels are watching over Rissa, Quan, Shine, and baby Saviour. Believe and have faith as a grain of mustard seed all is well in Robert's household and their lives. Amen. 💙💙💙🩷❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌💪💪💪💪👀🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🪽🪽🪽🪽🪽🪽🪽💒💒💒💒🌟🌟🌟🌟✝️✝️✝️✝️ .
Awww Quan’s eyes look so glossy when he was telling us what’s going on with her. You see the love and worry. He really hates seeing his wife in pain. I have so much admiration for this couple and their growing family. All prayers to the Roberts family ❤❤❤
It’s the constant consistency for me even when you’re tired and it’s 2:30am. 💯👏🏽 I’m glad everything is well with you 🙌🏽 Get some rest guys 😊 #TeamRissQuanShineAndSaviour
The timing of it is so similar to mine! I had a tiny little burning opening on my left side and it was super tender just a week before my six weeks appointment. I also just used the tape to keep it covered. Doctor cleared me of any infection and said it was completely normal and healing well. It eventually worked itself out and I’m all good now. This is my third c section and this was the first time this happened. It’s crazy how the body reacts differently to different situations. All the best Rissa!
Sending healing prayers to you Rissa. The body is weird and amazing after a c-section. You definitely got to take it easy, don't try to push yourself to much. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Love how you guys keep up so involved. ❤ I get it Rissa! With my 3rd c section my incision came opened and they decided not to do anything but then it completely ripped open and was gushing blood. Be careful and stay aware! Positive vibes for complete healing! ✨️
I'm praying that your incision will heal quick, Rissa. Thank you, guys, for sharing. Always consistent, even though your going through some discomfort. God bless you and your family.
If it's one thing about Quan he's going to be supportive he's the man every women wish to have. He has never allow Rissa to go through the stress and worry alone, he's gonna go through it with her. Coming from a proud and happy supporter from day one LOVE YOU guys😊
After working L&D I saw this happening after several ladies had C-Sections. Everything the Dr’s said about healing and your body releasing fluid is exactly how it is. Everyone is different and heals different. You’re gonna be just fine Rissa and Sit down🤣 and Take it Easy, still early after C-Section and it takes timeeeeeeee. Love You Guys and Thank You for keeping us in the Loop. ♥️🥰
Hi guys! 👋🏽 I'm so glad you went to get that checked out and so happy there was no sign of infection! You did the right thing by getting that checked out! Hang in there Rissa! Love you guys ❤
I wish for you a speedy and complete recovery Rissa. Make sure you rest until you are fully healed. I've been through two c-sections and it takes a while before it fully heals. Love you guys ❤❤
I never had that happen to me after 4 c-sections but I am glad that you are doing well and kudos to Quan for the attention to detail! 🙏🏽💪🏽❤️ Prayers for a great recovery!! ❤️❤️
i love how genuine your love is for each other // your family. such a beautiful thing to watch and experience. thank yall for the consistency. God bless the Roberts family
Prayers for a complete recovery. Take it easy, Rissa you and your body have been through a lot. I know it's hard when you're a mom but let Quan help (more) as he offers because you NEED to rest as much as possible.
I had 3 daughters...28, 17, and 15. My 2 youngest daughters were both delivered by c-section. In my first c-section, the incision opened, and it hurt like pure hell. No infection but they packed it with gauze, and I had to leave it in for a few days, and it came out on its own. The incision took longer to close, but it finally did. I had staples/stitches, and yes... the burning sensation is normal. I'm glad all is well with you. But remember, no lifting, no squatting and no lifting baby Shine. He is too heavy for you to pick up right now because of your incision and the pressure will cause your incision to separate like a zipper. Go home, put your feet up, and don't lift anything heavier than the baby. That's the most important thing. ❤😊
Awe I’m so sorry Rissa is going through this… men will NEVER understand what we go to as mothers. Thankfully Quan is supportive and loving. I feel scared and worried for Rissa. The trauma of motherhood is lifelong. I still cry some days. I have recurring flashbacks of my labor. Also it makes me upset hearing this doctor talking. Because I know in the medical field they NEED to be careful with how they WORD the conversations. The medical professionals and the medical field is about TRIAL and error. Thanks for sharing this. Love being able to relate to Rissa and Rissa’s journey.
Girl I feel your pain the same thing happened to me when I had my c-section with my twins but mine got infected and I was put on antibiotics. I’m praying for you to have a quick recovery please keep a eye on in and if it get worse go straight back up the hospital.
Praying for your recovery Rissa 😘🙏. Your body has been through a lot bringing those beautiful boys into the world. Get plenty of rest and wishing you all the healing vibes.
I just absolutely love watching y’all. Everything just seems so genuine about y’all. Y’all relationship and just y’all as individuals. I thought me and my boyfriend were the only ones that acted like an “old” couple lol. I love everything about y’all💕
Thumbs Up 👍🏿 I didn't skip ad I watched from the beginning to the end without skipping 👍🏿 It's good that y'all came to the Hospital to get it checked out , now y'all can rest in piece.
Rissa i’m sorry to hear what you’re going through with your post C section symptoms. I’m glad you are ok. Hopefully everything will continue to heel. I pray that all the pain will be gone real soon. Thank you for sharing your personal experience with this. Take it easy and feel better Rissa!! See y’all in y’all next lit video! Love y’all! Peace!!
Glad that your ok Rissa! It was very smart to get a second opinion. It’s good to pay attention to your body. Thank God for Quan, so supportive and attentive! Great video. Love yall❤️ #teamrissandquanforever🥰❤️
Prayers for you Rissa. Yes, c-sections are a very long healing process. When you get cleared at the 6 week mark, try not to do strenuous workouts. You know your body. I didn’t start doing crunches until 4 months after my son. Incisions being open doesn’t sound normal and they should close it, but they are the doctors but my doctors said to return if incision opened up. Either way, take your time to heal properly because layers of muscles have been cut and the slightest moves like reaching for your purse in the back seat can feel like a muscle pulling.
Ima say this with love. That’s why it’s so important to rest and let your body heal. You were at the zoo not even a week i believe after the C section.
Exactly!!! A C section is a major surgery. With nothing but love, having had 2 c sections myself. The things you do after have a lot to do with how the body heals. Doing too much to fast can be costly. I wish her the best.
Made me tear up a bit and have flash backs of my 3rd c section last year . I cried the whole procedure and afterwards during the healing process the burning sensation was painful and I couldn’t stand sit or lay down without crying in pain and when I called the dr she said that still needed to heal and had a major surgery . The lady didn’t seem concerned . Then later on my staple was poking through my skin it didn’t dissolve with the rest . My scar is still uncomfortable to this day . We know when our bodies are off and when something is wrong . I wish I had a dr like that, that was more caring and concerned and willing to see what was going on . I’m glad you got it checked and that you’re ok . ❤️❤️
Good job with getting a second opinion. Black women /women of color HAVE to advocate for our pain and health issues in those settings. Unfortunately, our symptoms are taken lightly and that’s why we have the highest number of complications. You guys keep advocating for your recovery! Prayers for you ❤❤
Praying for a speedy recovery beautify Queen. I experienced the same thing after my C-section, and once it closed it did leave a small indentation in that area. Look out for any discoloration in the fluids, odor , and unbearable pain. keeping the area clean is most important and try not to over exert yourself. 17yrs later I still have numbness where I had my incision. The recovery after a c section is definitely a process
l love how Rissa always pay attention to her body to know when something is off & isn't prayers Rissa ❤❤Rissa you're super strong a lot of women after a c section isn't as active as Rissa is The way Quan pays attention... he was definitely listening to what the doctor was saying 😂❤
