Mamas can only be so strong for so long. Lark wore herself out, that’s how she ended up sick. Exhaustion effects your whole health. Especially new mamas, humans and animals. She did it all for those babies, she’s now in the best place possible! Getting her IV fluids and antibiotics plus a little rest - she’ll come back stronger than ever.

*Brandon makes me think real hard about my life purpose. As a huge foreign fan of " **dogy.training** Dog" TV series I bought this book as a support. But the part that Brandon wrote about how he become a trainer of homeless dogs makes me cry. It wakes me up and force me to think hard about what I'm doing in my life right now.He was willing to risk his job for what he believed : every homeless dog must have hope and a home. He committed to his promise that he would help saving lives. He never gave up and willing to sacrifice his secure career for it. That part alone changed my life, not even mention all dogs' stories he told throughout the book. They are all inspirational.*

My dog Charlie died about a month ago. And I know that “he’s just a dog” but no. Animals are our families, and if people keep saying that ‘he’s being over dramatic” no, stop being so insensitive and listen for once. I fell into a huge depression when my dog got put down because of cancer. While lark is probably fine, people shouldn’t be making jokes. I’ve seen a few comments of people being rude so please just be respectful.

You'd be surprised to know this happens a lot with Animal mamas! They can't always tell us their pain right away so sometimes these things pass without us even knowing. I worked for a horse breeder for a few years and we had a couple horses and dogs give birth and run a fever a few weeks after. They were okay in the end

I'm at the 11 min mark so sorry if this was said in your video, but this happened to my girl as well. She was perfect one day, and then had a seizure because of her fever the next. She had gotten it from mastitis, and could no longer feed her babies because of her meds and well, just over all recovedy. Except for me, it happened early on at about 2 weeks after they were born...so many sleepless bottle feeding nights. Everytime I see a dog gives birth, this is exactly what goes through my mind first...that I hope this doesnt happen to them. It ran me a $2600 bill to save her. I'm not a youtuber, so it was hard...but worth every penny. She is fixed and so are all her pups so no more pups come from this litter. You all are doing great with them =)

Joey, You and Daniel are amazing Dog daddies. You probably won't see this but watching the way you handled the situation is amazing. You stayed calm when needed and you took her to get the help she needed. You handled it all so well, both of you and I am so thankful you noticed and decided to take action. She's a great mama who deserves the best.

Vet tech here...I commented this on several videos that she appeared to have either a retained puppy or an infection. Glad you finally got her to a vet. Im sure she'll be fine !

As someone who grooms dogs for a living, I’m so so glad that you are starting with their nails now! Doing this now helps to avoid dogs who are bad for nails in the future! Less stress on the dog and the groomer ☺️

It sounds like she has milk fever, when the calcium levels in the blood drop to low they get a high fever, they pant and have muscle cramps, the antibiotics help but advise you to ask your vet if they are giving her intravenous calcium because that's the only way to help milk fever ♥️

Have you thought about letting her free graze? I HAD to with my mama when she had her 10 pups! She became very thin and lethargic so we were told to have her food and water near here at all times so she could eat as much as she wanted to.

After giving birth to five puppies, my dog would always go up to our living room space and our bedroom and that would be the best sleep she would ever have and she wont go down to feed her babies anymore. Shes doing really okay now and compared to her body weight from before, shes back to her normal self now! I guess its normal and it is a bit tiring. Just dont forget to feed her three or four times a day and extra care. They'll be okay! They know you guys love her 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕 you're doing great, guys!

Also everyone watching this video seeing how freaking cute and adorable the puppies are, please don’t decide to just have your dogs get pregnant. There are so many dogs in shelters in the pound and different organizations that need help. Also for some dogs it could be very dangerous to give birth. I’m not saying Joey you did anything wrong at all because you are actually taking care of the puppies and they are actually going to good homes. A lot Of people will actually just keep breeding their dogs over and over and over and it is so unhealthy and we don’t need any more dogs or puppies being born when there are so many that already need homes

Feel terrible for Troy and Daniel because having your dog in the hospital is really sad because mine had to go to hospital wants to for an operation but I don’t wanna explain that but I am yeah and at 17:13 I noticed that the puppies were missing their mum, hopefully they’re ok, and so is Lark, here is alto of support!
