It took me way too long to realize what unsettled me more than dan’s general look. He doesn’t blink throughout the entire video. He’s always just staring at you and it helps to build the overly oppressive feeling of the video and I Love It

4 years later and this still easily one of my favourite dan bull songs I've heard in a long time. The composition is just absolutely amazing, the bassline, the drums, the guitar, especially in the first verse paired with Dan's legendary skills just makes an incredible sounding song. AND THE BRIDGE man this song is laced with Joy and there's no other way to put it.

You know i really love the chorus with “we only want you to be happy” which has a double meaning the normal one which would be a literal translation of we want happiness for you. And the darker tone from the game being you have to be happy or else.

Gotta say, I was about as impressed by all of Dan’s costume and environment changes as I was by his rap skills and style alterations. Like, seriously, Dan, how much extra effort did you have to put into getting all those shots together? I think even the non-moving newscaster has his little background props switch over from sparkles to flowers and back again at some point. Leave it to you to go one step beyond, lol.

Im been literally forcing myself to smile to feel that strange good feeling and its made me forciblly happy. Its kinda like using joy rather then wallowing in sadness. IMPORTANT QUESTION: I've been working on a song and music video for We Happy Few for months, and am close to finishing it. However, the who song is done like the Broadcasts in the game, VERY much like this one. While it's not a rap song, but more of a creepy, jazzy, propaganda song, I'm VERY afraid that I'd look like I'm stealing his idea. And I can't simply change it, since the song is written lyrically like an Uncle Jack broadcast. What do you guys think? Would it look like I'd be stealing his idea, or is the direction for the game so obvious, that it's perfectly understandable why I did it the way it looks?

I've heard this game's been going through a situation similar to Yandere Simulator and Hello Neighbor. Not nearly as dramatic as the former, but going down the same path of overly long debug builds and being too hyped too early leading to an underwhelming product. Yeah, I binge played it this weekend, it does have a lot of bugs and crashes occasionally, but in all honesty, I love the storyline that's cleverly leaked throughout, the graphics and art style is amazing, and it's a big game with a lot of open space to explore (and is more like 3 games in one, getting to play 3 acts and 3 different characters which I love). And for such a small developer, they've done wayyy more than I could have imagined and I'm sure they'll patch the bugs soon, so if it's something you're looking into but not crazy for, you can always leave it a while until it's patched and lower in price and try it then-but I do recommend it! (:

Not exactly. The plotline is amazing, but it's bad NPC's and repetitive gameplay mixed with some bugs makes it worse. However it isn't like the games you mentioned because it wasn't overhyped, the game is really good, but a bit repetitive. The glitches aren't really noticable until later in the story, and the gameplay isn't that bad. I give it a 8/10. I recommend the game.
