Quick tip: if you’re not in a 5-star ride and you go from Test Session to Career mode, use a lower gear (go from a 3.25 to a 3.40) to get more engine RPMs, it will give you more straight lien speed.

I wish they added more ability to build up a team like f1 games so you can race for petty 3 or 4 seasons and make them competitive. Also have other teams rise up and down in standings. would make career way more interesting for multiple seasons

I feel like the team ratings should expand from 3 - 5 stars to 1 - 5 stars. 5 star - running between 1st - 15th 4 star - 15th - 25th 3 star - 25th - 30th 2 star - 30th - 37th 1 star - 37th - 40th/DNF due to mechanical failures All approximate values for Cup, will have to adjust accordingly for Xfinity and Trucks Also, having individual driver ratings would be sick to see in future NASCAR games

Turn brake smoothing to high, it’ll help getting on pit road. It’s much much better

I find that if you lower the rear end gear ratio on the car and then put a lot of tape on it it goes really fast on The straight aways; only thing is you have to mess around with the other gear ratios because when you shift if you don’t have it right you will feel like you’re not moving at all. It gives you a lot more high-end speed

Final gear ratio and steering wheel lock. Turn em both down. Lower final drive is quicker spool on the gearing. The steering lock, if its too high, it’s overturning your front wheels and scrubbing speed. Also, drop left side tire psi and up the right side the same way. .50psi left = .50 psi right

Knee Pit Gaming’s setups helped me a ton in NH4! On intermediates, I like to run around 52% front weight and then lower the wedge to about 48%. For me, I can save tires but also turn well with those settings.

Every time there’s a restart I get freight trained left and right on the short runs which makes me lose a lot of spots. Therefore, my driving style will compensate with the track position that I would’ve maintained during a long run. Maybe with less tire wear with more grip, it makes the game enjoyable and challenging at the same time.

Man if you switch over to manual shifting, you just go into neutral and slam on the brakes for pit road and you won't spin out! Works like a charm!

After doing work for my grandpa I finally got enough for it I'm getting the game Tomorrow I haven't played since heat 3 Edit: got the game and currently installing it

Air pressures way to high, that’s why you only go fast a few laps. Heat will build pressures up so if you’ve got right sides set in the 40’s or 50’s you’re not giving them an actual chance to work. Go into test session and Lower lefts to the low teens to start and the right sides to the upper teens and start there. Should increase your straight line speeds too.

If you’re having trouble getting into pit road, change “brake smoothing” setting and it will make it I’m much easier. Also, consider adjusting your brake sensitivity down to make them less sensitive and it may help as well.

Up the rear end ratio it’ll pull more rpms making you faster down the straightaways and help rotate the car and carry more momentum through the corner should be right at or hitting the rev limiter in the draft

Switching to manual definitely fixes the wheel hopping for pit road/out of fuel, I had the same problems

Saw Lajoie and Suarez blow by you on the straight that's concerning those are 3 star rides I believe

Lower the rear end to get the spoiler out of the air to increase speed

The game doesn’t give us enough speed In the straights but in the corners we are able to at least pass 2-3 cars.

You enter into pit lane way to late, like a last minute decision. Try entering in sooner like the rest of the cars do

I wonder if the setups work as well as NASCAR 09 did. If so, I’d feel better adjusting my car. But from doing minor adjustments, it just doesn’t feel like the car responds the same to the changes

Set your fourth gear to 1.10 in that gear ratio and you will gain about .01 to .02 seconds in the straights. The sweet spot is about 8100 to 8500 rpm.

On heat 4 if you slow down leaving the car in 4th gear the car won’t spin, idk about 5 haven’t played it

I have my heat 5 draft effect on high. It makes a huge difference. Makes the game more fun and helps you out a lot more than you think:)

When you set the Wear and grip to Less Wear and More Grip you need to have the Ai wear at less effect, it's way better.

your only chance of straight away speed is a late caution and you end up with the freshest tires by at least 15 20% at least till you upgrade ride

Is this a game where you really need to have a deep understanding of nascar and setups for it to be enjoyable? I used to be into nascar as a kid and got away from it for years, but now I’m starting to get back into it. I just don’t understand the intricacies of setups and everything

In a 4 star ride you just have to play strategy when not at a plate track

So idk if you @realradman or anyone down here in comments land can help me out. But since heat 3 I've been having an issue where no matter what tire wear setting I run, what track(safe superspeedways) my right front tire is just absolutely dead with in 4 laps from green flag. I run presets and do pit adjustments, don't do custom setups. Have tried lowering tire pressure to minimum, maxing wedge still didn't help. Any suggestions?

I’ve found that choosing goals that say place top 10 or top 5 makes me faster in qualifying and in the race Idk why but it helps a lot

I feel like when I'd see the Mountains in Las Vegas, I'd think they are Luxor Pyramids for some reason, which will eventually be torn down at some point, Radman, which the COVID-19 only hastened. I would think Richard Petty Motorsports would have a lot of problems selling the program after Bubba's Noise.

For heat 6 they have to change how teams differentiate in speed. An engine 4-5 tenths off the pace down the front stretch ruins the immersion of the game. I’m not asking for this to turn into iracing but when the realism is this far off it ruins the experience for a large section of the player base. Make them a little worse in the corners but not a mile off in a straight line. I really hope they fix this soon because it’s been in all of the heat games thus far and has turned me completely off of the series. Hopefully they make a comeback
