Sujith, unfortunately, most Indians-other than in Karnataka nd Kerala- donot know about Udupi Krishna. They may know Udupi Hotels, but not Krishna. Even among those who knowUdupi Krishna temple, many donot knowthe whole story. She has narrated it beautifully.

We westerners know more about vedic culture than the majority of Indians. One time, in New York City, I had to translate Spanish into English to an Indian doctor. I noticed his brahmachari thread. He was impressed that I knew what a brahmin was. Then I pulled out of my bookbag, a copy of the Srimad Bhagavatam. The doctor was perplexed and gave me a spiritual salutation. Also in New York City, my college English professor was Indian, and I visited her office many times. She had a calendar with Krsna and Radha Swing pastime. I explained to her what the pastime was about, and she was also perplexed that a western boy knew about Krsna's pastimes. Hare Krsna! Greetings from the Bronx NY.

Great sister. In the last video you were mentioning about not letting you in guruvayoor. They had asked you convertion certificate from arya samaj. Arya samaj converts people to sanatan sanskar using some rituals and gives you hindu certificate. Unfortunately you need that to go to guruvayoor. Once when I was very young they didn't let me in for wearing pants and asked me to wear dhoti, i was in high school. So they are very strict. Sorry that happened to you. When people are happily accepting our culture we should accept them too. Because of such people in guruvaayoor please you don't lose faith in our culture and god. Big salute to you. Radhe radhe

Without realising how dangerous she is my father(her brother) is still very affectionate towards her, she on the other hand tells my dad to convert if he needs to come n meet her....Btw my aunt is 75 and my dad 71, so they r not young

Great you guys finally reached UDUPI, I lived in Manipal the city next to Udupi, I studied and worked in Manipal and Udupi. Very beautiful place. Don’t miss out to see Manipal and many small temples in Manipal, Swarna river in Manipal and also Ganesh temple below end pint in Manipal. Don’t miss surrounding other temples near to Udupi, Kolllor Mookambika temple, Shringeri Sharadha temple, Hornadu Anna Purneshwarii temple. You guys in very beautiful place and surrounded by many temples

Good that you did visit Udupi. As you rightly said, Madhwacharya, who is chief proponent of Dvaita philosophy was born near Udupi and he established the Krishna temple and Mutts. You folks from Iskcon also follow to some degree with some modifications Acharya's philosophies which is fine. That is the beauty of Krishna who is so adaptable and acceptable to all. There is no discrimination in Udupi both for darshan and for taking prasadams. Jai Hare Krishna.

Nostalgic "Udupi" .. It's a famous Krishna Temple ..If you love to visit beaches u can go to "Malpe beach" ⛱️ Kapu beach 🏖️ .. It's well known there .. Even I visited the Krishna Temple while I studied there ..Nice place ❤️

This is the place from which Bhrama Madhwa Gaudiya Sampradaya originates, Sripad Mahwacharya build the temple established the deity and he is the one who started Dvaita Vedanta philosophy! This is the sampradaya ISKCON follows!

I am happy that you were allowed into the Krishna Temple in Udupi unlike your experience in Guruvayur. The Kanaka Dasa story was inspiring. In course of time every temple will change its policy. i hope the guruvayur pemple changes its policy and allow all Krishna devotees irrespective of their nationality to enter into the temple. This Temple was founded by Sri Madhavacharya. A great saint. sri Kanakadasa was also a Great saint. Both they made Udupi famous. Jai Sri Krishna.
