We Have Completed EVERYTHING! | Kirby and the Forgotten Land Co-op Playthrough - FINALE! 

I know I said it like 50 times during this video, but seriously, thank you all for joining us for Kirby and the Forgotten Land. We enjoyed every moment of this game and it was a fantastic journey and we are glad you joined us for it. You are all amazing!

Forgo Leon is actually my favorite boss from any game I have ever played. I love how it builds on the original fight. Starting off with phase two, then introducing a third phase and eventually going even further beyond by having Forgo attack you from the background as well. And congratulations on reaching 100%! I`m still working on my own 300% playthrough (100% on all 3 files) but watching your takes on this game has been really entertaining. I'll make sure to look for some of your other playthroughs as well

Fights, collectibles, levels, bosses, mini games, you’ve done them all… and I’m glad to have seen it all! It seems like you guys had so much fun this play through, and it’s nice to see! Long read alert! On the topic of favourite bosses, I feel that to me, Fecto Elfilis and Chaos Elfilis are my favourites from a design standpoint, and I don't mean just appearances. There's some violently strong characterisation behind both forms and it rocks. Fecto Elfilis (story boss) introduces itself in a very self-aggrandizing way, it opens its wings before you blotting out the sun, implying you are less than nothing to it, it compares it's power to a celestial body, with you being a mere speck in it's shadow. Kirby quickly proves otherwise, and it's interesting to see this obviously extremely powerful being subtly express desperation as it faces demise, to the point of electing to destroy one or both planets out of pure spite, even if they take them with it. Additionally, Fecto Elfilis' attacks ooze with pride and grace, being slow and elegant for the most part. Chaos Elfilis is different though. It doesn't seem even proud to be alive. In contrast to it's first appearance, it doesn't appear in front of the sun, it appears parallel to it. It also very swiftly initiates combat, and it rarely gives you time to strike besides attack endlag and between some attack cycles. It's combat becomes focused on aggression, high damage output to overwhelm Kirby, which speaks something. It speaks urgency. If the game's words are to be taken at face value, Chaos Elfilis' mere existence is an accident in the worst way. Revived neither through will not luck, it's return is pure chaotic coincidence and is also likely temporary. So Chaos Elfilis, unlike it's first form, doesn't carry itself as higher. It places itself in front of it's opponent, and coming from something as intelligent as Elfilis, that can only mean one thing: "I'm not here to brag. This is my revenge, and I'm not making the same mistake twice." It's no longer underestimating Kirby. It's sole purpose in life now is to eliminate the little pink planet that ripped the feared invader to shreds in it's Roche limit. When Kirby inevitably breaks through into Chaos Elfilis' soul, the true core of it is revealed. That spiteful move of hurling Popstar at the Ancients' Planet was going two ways: Revenge on Kirby for once again splitting it apart, and revenge on the ancients and their legacy for keeping it locked away in that lab for untold years, forgotten, stagnant, barely alive. From here, this is my theory so take it with mountains of salt, but: Assumedly, the disturbing music we hear in Soul phase 1 is the last Forgo's psychic ability sputtering out, effectively releasing it's own thoughts as the concept of it's identity unravels in being reduced to it's soul form. And it's telling that the only thing we hear now is the automated tour guide on a permanent, disturbing loop, because that's what it's life was like for all those years in captivity. A loop of hearing the same thing over and over again, loudly presenting it as this "neat thing [the ancients] caught", a scientific breakthrough all of it's own! Like property. Like an animal in a zoo. And when they left, like dust on a shelf. Small wonder it was on the brink of insanity. It goes to explain a lot of Fecto Forgo's actions, from his slow takeover to it's desperation for Elfilin to it's spiteful final bout with hurling Popstar at the planet. If nothing else, Elfilis was shockingly emotional in that final confrontation. That final attack was pure spite at the legacy of it's abusers. It knew they aren't even there anymore, but it didn't care. It just wanted to spit back. With the soul's defeat it is essentially cleansed, and returns to Elfilin willingly. It accepts it's defeat by Kirby and more importantly, lets go of it's grudge against the Ancients. Towards better things, a brighter tomorrow. Thanks for reading my TED talk! And please Elfilin, never EVER go on a guided tour.

Fun Fact: The modern Kirby games worlds first letter spell out a word that either foreshadows the final boss or is just cool like Triple Deluxe: Fine Fields, Lollipop Land, Old Odyssey, Wild World, Endless Explosions, Royal Road, Eternal Dreamland (this all spells FLOWERED) Return to Dreamland: Cookie Country, Raisin Ruins, Onion Ocean, White Wafers, Nutty Noon, Egg Engines, and Dangerous Dinner (spells CROWNED which is also the name of Magolors boss theme) Planet Robobot: Patched Plains, Resolution Road, Overload Ocean, Gigabyte Grounds, Rhythm Route, Access Ark, and Mind in the Program (which all spells… well PROGRAM) Star Allies: (did it similarly but this time with the level names in Planet Popstar) Friendly Field, Reef Resort, Inside Islands, Echo’s Edge, Nature’s Navel, Duplex Dream, and Sacred Square (spells FRIENDS) And finally in Forgotten Land: Natural Plains, Everbay Coast, Wondaria Remains, Winter Horns, Orignull Wasteland, Redgar Forbidden Lands, and Lab Discovera (spells out NEWWORLD) and it doesn’t end there because if we take Isolated Isles we get II which obviously is 2 in roman numerals, so we get NEWWORLDII. (Ik this was long but its an awesome detail)

And now I shall give my out of context summary for Forgotten Land Kirbo was enjoying a lovely day flying about when a mysterious hole opens up and turns his day upside down....and every other way. Kirbo washes up like Gulliver and finds himself in a new world along with a crazy amount of mouthless Dee's and some of his frenemies. Kirbo also meets a flying teal mouse who everyone immediately accused of being the secret villain. Halfway through Kirbo's rescue effort, the Teal Mouse was captured by Triple Dee Penguin and taken to the Legion of Doom's volcano base. There Kirbo beats down Triple Dee Boar Penguin and gets the truth from zootopia's Lionheart. Teal Mouse was just half of the true villain so everyone was technically half right. Kirbo beats Lionheart and makes a run for it with Mousefilin while John Carpenter's The Thing gives chase. Mousefilin gets nabbed and the Thing transforms into Jakalope Sephiroth who then tries to kill Kirbo. But with the power of Stars, Friendship, and Truck-kun, Kirbo frees Mousie and turns Jakalope Sephiroth into road kill.

My guess with Morpho Knight is that since at the end of the fight a bunch of butterflies fly off, he’s still fine since a bunch of butterflies come together at the start of the fight. The black mass that escaped I assume is Chaos Elfilis, which allows you to fight them later. As for the future 3d games, I think it’s a misunderstanding. From what I heard, they are planning on doing BOTH 3d and 2d games in the future. And for Meta Knight’s possession thing, if the game isn’t Star Allies then I’m stumped. And I’ve played, like, every Kirby game. Not that my memory is any good…

This was by far my favorite kirby game and I'm sure it's a favorite for many others. For a game that's called the forgotten land, i'm sure it will be the most memorable in the series ever. I'm glad I got to join you guys in this beautiful journey! Glad to see some people who are just doing youtube for fun and nothing else, it really is a treat

Since you were answering questions from the comments section in this video, I've got a question for you: what criticisms or areas of improvement would you list for this game? (Eg: more playable character choices for Player 2, the amount of usable base abilities being quite low, how the game difficulty spikes near the end)

Am I 2 years late to watching this playthrough? Yes, but for the record, I did still enjoy every bit of it. I'm actually a new viewer- haven't seen you guys before I watched this playthrough- and I gotta say, I love your dynamic! I'll be sticking around, go back and watch some more. I'm thinking of heading to the Kirby Fighters 2 playthrough next specifically since I haven't actually seen that game. I'll see you two there!

(Sorry for the super long reply in advance lol!! 😂) This was a great finale!! This was the playthrough that introduced me to you guys and this was such an awesome playthrough to watch you guys. Also, I love that when I watch your videos, your subscriber count increases and I just love that as you deserve it!! And congrats for getting 100% on Kirby and the Forgotten Land!! And thank you so much for the shoutout!! That was so incredible (and I woke up at 6:00am US east coast time to hear this and watch this video lol!! 😂) as it made me smile so much and it definitely will make my day. And as you were wondering, Adam Driver is indeed my favorite actor of all time (tied with Ryan Gosling). I just love not only how Adam looks but I just love his versatile acting range. I loved when he was in the Star Wars sequel trilogy and I’m so glad that you mentioned Marriage Story as he is incredible in that movie and his performance in that movie is one of my overall favorite performances of all time in a movie. With his versatile acting range, he can act in pretty much anything as there was a musical movie that he did last year that is on Amazon Prime that’s called Annette and it’s one of my favorite movies of all time. Definitely go check it out as it’s a great movie but it’s also very weird as well. And just to let you know, my favorite actress is Emma Stone. I can go on and on about Adam Driver (and Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone as well lol!! 😂) so if you want to ask me anything about my favorite actors and actresses, go right ahead!! What’s your favorite and least favorite performances/movies from these actors and actresses that I mentioned?! I would love to know that!! I love hearing Michael’s answers to my questions too as I loved getting to hear what his favorite bosses and worlds were. There were so many incredible laughs to be had during this playthrough from your constant jokes to your reaction to some of the bosses and their attacks and much more. I also love how my shoutout ended up being the longest one in the video as you guys got to answer my questions lol!! 😂 And I’m so excited to see you guys do a playthrough on Kirby’s Return to Dream Land and Kirby Triple Deluxe while also going back to do some more content on Kirby Planet Robobot. This was a fun playthrough to watch. I think my favorite bosses in this game besides Chaos Elfilis are Morpho Knight and Forgo Dedede. Also, I just want to give a special shoutout to the needle kirby line in this game one last time because launching the stars out towards bosses after doing the katamari ball was so satisfying to me.

This series was nice, you put a lot of effort into it!
