Fully automatic guns have been banned for decades and there’s a 5 round magazine limit. Also, it’s almost impossible to get a gun license if you have any kind of criminal history or past issues with law enforcement.
Problem with you government is the "opposition" ceded the fact that its "only for hunting" you cant even use it in self defense... you get what you are willing to die for and all Canadians do is yell "shame" the same as when the truckers were hauled off illegally and their accounts seized.
@@abouttime5000RPAL they call their references and spouse and do an interview with you. I have my PAL and they called no one. I only have a dui and got approved. Its if you have a violent crime(assault) where a conviction has not been granted a pardon is where you would have a problem
Government has to review the efficacy of who they are paying to provide so-called advice. That money would have been better spent hiring police officers who walk the beat.
Billion dollars in a country where legal guns are not a problem. The problem is the unregulated guns entering into Canada. If you wanna invest then invest at borders. Let law abiding citizens have their rights to legal guns.

A small percentage of the population is doing the vast amount of gun crimes , and yet this government goes after the law abiding citizens. That makes one wonder what is the bigger picture
Facebook, even private messages, is accessible to the gov. They have always had a backdoor access. So if you send a picture of a rifle to a friend, saying "I bought this", they already know about it. No need to nicely ask for your cooperation

They spend all this money and put all this effort into taking away the one thing that would allow lawful gun owners the ability to use as much force as is reasonably necessary against an armed home invasion, but they haven't lifted a finger to even do anything to attack the image of being gangsta.

Indigenous and Inuit need rifles to survive and keep a lively hood out in the territories...it is required to have rifles out there alone because of the encroachment into polar bear territories so no rifle out there literally means starvation and becoming freshly ribboned human jerky for a polar bear...polar bear culling isn't an answer either... conservationists would agree also...
