It could definitely help establish that the thugs of Kamurocho aren't the same, and after training to the point of peak prowess, are at least half a match for Kiryu. If this was a first fight and this whole sequence happened, it'd definitely be the biggest establishing moment that nothing in Kamurocho is the same anymore.
@@zakkymiftahurrahman1665 That's a common mistake. Lost Judgment is the name of the second game, because John loses his judgment. In Japan his name is Judge Eyes because they do last name first and John in Japanese is 'Eyes'.

As much as a glitched mess this is, there is something oddly hype about seeing a random goon stand up after getting the shit kicked out of him by Kiryu and power through his punches. It has the same vibe as a certain Yakuza 7 fight, idk. Makes me wish there was a Legendary difficulty to the Yakuza games, where you'd get to go through the main storyline as a custom dude instead of Kiryu. It would have turned the game into a survival horror, but that seems charming to me haha
@@Aaron_Stever as Masayozzy said, old characters + Tendo, but to be more specific [HUGE SPOILERS AHEAD] The Kiryu fight in LAD:7. Before it is revealed Ichiban is just hallucinating (as he was KO'd at the start), he was basically going toe-to-toe with the legend himself. It was hype as fuck, and whole Ichiban was in the wrong durinh that fight, I still rooted for him. This is kinda my problem with Kiryu. Once a man wins so much that he seems unbeatable, you wish someone would come along to prove it wrong. That's why underdogs, like Ichiban and the dude im this video are usually liked and rooted for.

Throughout my life I looked up to you, before I realized you only protect the Tojo Clan when you are forced to. A yakuza like that shouldn't make it through the ranks like this, but here we are.
