You can tell that you are a real farmer because you have zero fear of getting dirty. Amazing how you juggle that entire circle of life for the milk production.
Magnetic deck and Bluetooth chains 😂 I’ve seen guys that have run skid steers for years have way more trouble loading. Charlotte just doesn’t really seem to stress about anything and is willing to tackle anything. Great job Charlotte.
Charlotte is such a cutie Andy growing up so dang fast all your kids have one minute they are tiny and in the blink of an eye they are in their 20s great video I hope you all have a wonderful evening.
Andy, thank you for another educational video. The Terradisc is one sweet piece of equipment. I am a few years older than you. I made use of a John Deere 60, 50, B and a Farmall H, with a loader. The Farmall was my grandfather's first tractor. Also, none had power steering. My father did have a John Deere 60, with power steering. But it was sold and off the farm before I was old enough to use it. I helped pick an untold number of trailer loads of rocks out of the fields. We did use the loader on the Farmall for the larger rocks. A number of times it was amazing the front tires didn't blowout on Farmall. They certainly were pushed so flat. They were running on the sidewalls too. As you did growing up. We also plowed, disc, harrowed and use the cultivators on the B, to control the weeds in the corn fields. About the time no-till came to my area. My allergies kicked in, so I never did any no-till. Charlotte nice driving and operating the skid steer for the first time, nice job. Andy again your videos show just how well your children do on the farm. Including when operating a new to them tractor, piece of equipment and other pieces of farm machinery. Example, Charlotte operating the skid steer. And I must say again. Last week when Sarah spotted the missing bolt in the hitch. While doing her walk around. I hope Andrew wasn't to upset with himself for bending the bale spear. That is certainly way to easy to do today. Especially with the horse power of the tractors and other pieces of powered farm machinery. Your children do an awesome job working on the family farm. It is great to see each of them showing their skills, on your videos. May God bless you and your family.
Hooray Andy is back. Welcome Back Andy and all👏you have been missed. I've already given a like and not watched yet!! Magnetic Deck and Bluetooth chains you've still got it !!👌 Nice to see Sarah And Charlotte.
That young man's got four contacts in one hand to that ladder😅 if he still has all four fingers🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣Thanks for sharing another great video with all of us
Hey Andy ,hello from the Bluegrass state ,I have been binge watching your channel for the last 2 days , love your channel and that the whole family contributed to your Dairy. Thank you for sharing your farm and family with us so that we can all see that growing up on a farm has so many lessons in life not to mention the work ethic, 🍻 cheers my friend 🚜
In a nutshell: RU-vid Google etc. is owned by a bunch of left wing, soy milk drinking fruitcakes. People that have never been outside of a city... or probably outside at all for that matter determined that it's not safe for a young kid to operate a farm tractor in an enclosed cab. To prevent any innocent children from being seriously injured by watching a video of another kid operating a farm tractor they removed the video and prevented Andy from posting any videos for a week as "punishment " even though in reality the only ones being punished are bright minded people like us that enjoy watching and learning from an even smarter person such as Andy. You better read this comment quick because I'm sure it's gonna get deleted because I so rudely spoke out..
@@Adam_Poirier Thanks for the explanation . So much for open mindedness and the application of logic .After over 30 years of designing manufacturing processes and dealing with Oregon O.S.H.A. I should have been able to put 2 and 2 together .
Great to see FFF back on YT. Big credit to Charlotte cutting her skid steer teeth on camera and throwing over those ramps. She is a confident young lady and as such a great credit to you Andy. You could threaten to buy all machinery operators fall arrest devices if they fail to comply with nanny state health and safety rules. Here in the stupid UK and l believe the EU too, one rung up on a ladder is considered "working at height". I blame lawyers for the mess the world is in. Great to see you guys back!
Appreciate seeing you taking your time and teaching your children how to do things on a farm that has such a variety of equipment and how to do it correctly and safely.
Oh hi Andy great to see you again, where you been 🤣. That bolt that broke in the hammer strap wasn't Sarah's fault, that was a badly manufactured bolt, she saved it from causing more damage, poor Charlotte what a crap boring job to give her, but as she's never run skidsteer before it will give her practise still a crap job. for someone has never operated a skid-steer before Charlotte did a pretty good job putting it on the trailer. Nate is obviously one of those people who only learn the hard way. Yes Andy we in the 70s 80s didn't have air con in the tractors we knew what a hard hot day was the youngsters these days don't know how easy they've got it.
Thanks for the video. You got a good worker there with Miss Charlie.. but while your in HR three points of contact. I seen Miss Charlie driving one handed. Hands at 10 and 2 all times. LoL. Miss Sarah is a pretty good teamsters to. When she wheels the rig around a keeps moving no idling down and don't Miss a turn.
We do have spring assisted but there not work andy says while Charlotte lifts on her own 😂, trailer not Bluetooth ready 😂 it ,great fun and teachings . Your farm and family so lucky to have a top comedian around andy 😂
You should look into Bluetooth safety harnesses for guys that have to get up on equipment. As long as they have their phone in their pocket, they will always be safe.
I can see Charlotte being the farm boss one day, and I used to make my operators back up the deck overs or as we call them tag alongs then spinn drop their attachments spin again and grab another one you found out real quick who was cut out for it!
Andy! You and I are about 10 years apart in age myself being the senior so I'm about to remember a little bit more about when it gets tears came on the farm than you do I would say in our area down here in Western Pennsylvania it was mid to late seventies. But isn't funny how as farmers when we are I don't know how to put it either asked or forced to learn to run something new we just pick it up. When I got mine it didn't take me very long to learn that you don't drive it onto anything that slopes up you back it LOL!!
I had a friend that lost his life using a skid steer, wasn’t wearing a seat belt and rolled it, also had a family member killed on a tractor hauling a round bail to the cattle after dark, his front tire went off the road and the tractor rolled. No seatbelt! It was a new tractor with a seatbelt. It’s good to see the safety that’s built into the new skid steer’s, they are easy to roll!
Andy if only you tube knew how most of us farm kids where raised back in the days when we rode on fenders of tractor learning how to operate tractor and equipment
Good to see you are back, I was having withdrawal symptoms. Charlotte is doing great on the skid steer. If you are in a bind and have to straighten a bale spear, use your cutting torch to cut a “V” notch at the top of the bend then use the pipe over the spear to straighten and electric weld the remainder of the “V” notch together. This method works and it doesn’t wreck the properties of the steel in the spear unlike heating the bend to red hot and straightening.
Chaining the skid steer down is funny Years ago before cell phones were a thing the boss came to the job site and told me to take the skid steer to a place and level out some material so I backed it on the trailer put the ramps up jumped in the truck and headed out. A few blocks away I got stopped in a police check stop, they were checking for seat belts. 115.00 dollar fine I left. They never noticed that the skid steer wasn't chained down.
Glad to see you guys and girls again. It has been a few days since we last saw you. Is there anything that your kids do?. They all seem to be able to turn their hands to anything.
I have straighten a few forks (not perfectly but to a usable state) by placing the bent fork under something heavy then lifting the the loader up. Ended up with the rear wheels off the ground but the forks are semi straight. Only problem is that their still slight bent and they need to be often tighted and I have now run out of adjustment. Thanks for the video
In the navy we called the rail climber safety sleeve a "ball buster" it did it's job if you weren't careful "Safety Climb Tubular Rail System OSHA Compliant"
Have had plenty of rrou let w the hammer straps on the 8360s, the ones w three bolts I think it's the front one that breaks and the back two aren't far behind on breaking or working loose
I’ve been driving a tractor since I was 4 dad would put it in gear and I would pull hay wagons around the field while he and grandpa loaded them! I’m 48 years old and now my 4 year old niece drives the tractor!
Howdy Andy, lol.....oh wait !! Ya know Andy, telling your viewers that the trailers are magnetic, and there's no need to chain down the equipment for transport, I know and you know, that the magnets are super duper strong, there will be someone that forgets to turn on the trailer magnets to the super duper strong settings, you just know someone will forget 🤣🤣🤣 Stay safe and Farm on my Friends, Peace
Welcome back Andy. Missed the video's. Glad to see your not "endangering children" anymore 😂😂😂 that didn't sit well with me when that happened. I'm on your side for sure👍👍 see ya next time take care
Kids Farming is an American Lifestyle my dad ran Family Dairy at 14 when Grandfather went Blind Driving Truck and picking up Milk Cans yes OLD Milk Cans from Dairy Farms. Police knew but never stopped my dad. Utube is a joke strikes and banning videos with kids working. Smh
Driving loaded 3/4 pickup to feedmill at 12 just another on the farm. I remember milk cans real well we cold them In a old cast-iron bathtub before we got a can colder.
Seems like the the lower drawbar hole may be egged out some which would put more pull one the top hammerstrap which would be enough to break the bolts.
Glad to see you're back! I'm curious, is the restitution to the RU-vid court system that you have to plant " Biden 2024" in your corn field for the next 2 years and only video the kids playing video games?
