Neil, thanks. Not everyone who buys twine is a full time farmer and knows what you have shared in this video. Me for one. It has helped me select the best product for my hobby farm without having learn -- by buying the wrong or "not the best for my application" twine.
Neil I love your informational videos! Thanks so much. You are a great resource for us "new guys" just starting to bale our own hay.. The only comment I have is that I am not a guy.. Gals are out here too trying to figure this stuff out! Keep up the great videos! You have a lot of information packed in your brain and I appreciate all the help I can get! I am excited to bale my first cutting in the next couple weeks! I have no clue what I am doing but I will figure it out!! Have you ever thought of making farm call videos? Could be very informative for small farmers like me just starting out.
Did I miss it, or did you mention anything regarding older balers that can use one and not the other for sisal and plastic? I have a NH 273, and it has Sisal. From what I read in the parts manual, there are 2 different knife heads for the knotter, one for sisal, one for plastic. Is this a factor?
Roger Leiser I use Krone twine the 650 knot strength. I already know all the information that was given in this video and it was a damn good video. So many farmers ask me why I spend so much on Krone twine and my answer is it’s the best for what I do they usually come back at me with it’s all the same your wasting your money.
