@@joshuafortune1590 The only person it disturbs is his merc teammate realistically. Only should they give out a penalty if the merc teamate or any other driver makes a valid mention of being disturbed.
Never forget that when Jarno gets "scammed" hell come back with a mindset scarier than a Hungry lion. ill never forget PSGL on f1 2021 when his win got stolen in France and then he went on to win the next 5 Races
Jarno love your vids, lil request could you or at the end or beginning put the standings before/after that race dependings where in the vid it is? Its tough to really know the influence the race has on the championship
The whole vsc situation is such bullsh!t man. Like who the f made that decision and its bullsh!t you cant even speak out about it and share your opinion, hope they get theyre sh!t together.
Actually it would have probably been fine to share his opinion but he did it very aggressively. He said something like whoever decided to put out the VSC should never be allowed anywhere near racing because they don't know what they are doing. Which yes that's a 100% correct statement but they have to protect their brand so they don't want people speaking like that. What he should have said was something like we were negatively affected by the VSC which I don't think was a very smart decision, and he probably would have been fine. Part of being an adult is learning now to express yourself in a way that doesn't get you in trouble. I cant turn up to a meeting at work and just say this is bullshit and you all are idiots, I have to find an adult way to say that so I don't get fired.
@@Spankyy811 Yeah that would NEVER happen. Oh wait, except in 2012 at the european grand prix where Sebastian Vettel literally criticized the deployment of the safety car and got a fine for "bringing the sport in to disrepute". But that's okay it would never happen twice. Except in 2020 at the Russian GP where Hamilton criticized the stewards and got 2 points on his super license which they eventually took back due to backlash but he still got a $25,000 fine. Do some research before barking out nonsense. These are just 2 examples and there are tons of others if you go back in history. Here is a literal quote from one of the articles: "This incident highlighted the importance of maintaining respectful communication and decorum when discussing decisions made by race officials in Formula 1." Which is exactly what I said. You 100% absolutely can discuss your frustration and displeasure with a decision but you have to do it like an adult, not a whining child. I'm a diehard Opmeer fan but it was not the right way to handle it. Saying things like "he should never be allowed anywhere near sim racing in the future" is a stupid way to lob insults. It's childish and will always results in punishments. There are more eloquent ways to say someone is an idiot and that's all you have to do, be eloquent about it. "So and so made a bad decision" will not get a penalty. "So and so is a moron and should be executed behind a barn" will get a penalty.
@@14768 lol you are easily triggered for someone that keeps on talking on how to behave like an adult. And u just countered yourself.. "2 points on his super licese was taken but eventually took back due to BACKLASH" imagine if its a 3 grid place penalty instead of 2 points of superlicense😂😂. And a fine for the driver is just a slap on the hand compared to grid penalty so nobody cares. I am talking about GRID place penalties not a FINE. And all of that was before f1 got big and popular like now. Try giving verstappen or hamilton grid place penalties for just complaining now lol. ( im not opmeer fan btw. I just started watching f1 esport ytd because it shows up on my recommendation)
@@Spankyy811 First of all, this isn't televised and i'm not a public figure, I can behave however I want. Second, 2 Points on a license is a LOT bigger deal than a grid penalty. License points last for a year and can result in a race ban if you get too many. Grid penalties only affect the next race. Yes it did get rescinded but it took time. It was several days if not a week before they changed their mind. Opmeer's penalty was given and then enforced within a few hours there wasn't time for people to get upset and them change their mind. Third You say that wouldn't fly today but about 8 months ago Carlos Sainz got in some hot water over car part regulation and he and Ferrari got in an argument with the stewards and they bumped his penalty up to a 10 place grid penalty for the next race. I can keep coming up with examples but i'm bored with this so just accept the fact that you are wrong and what he said was wrong. I watched it live and when he said it I knew he was getting a penalty. The last thing I will say is Jarno has himself on this channel several times said that he needs to watch how he handles himself and that he has let his temper get the best of him in the past. You can even hear in this video that he didn't really disagree with the penalty about his comments he only disagreed with the usage of the VSC. I think if you were to ask him he would probably say he understands why he got the penalty.
Who decides which of you drives the race? Is it simply based on how fast people are, so at Silverstone Dani drives faster than Jake or do you do it differently?
far out man, Jarno > Crofty when it comes to commentary, does an awesome job at being engaging, exciting and giving us seriously god tier levels insight in every video, oh and dont forget the memes, bro can cook
The penalty sucks but you gotta be honest about it. It was because you got up from the platform in the middle of the race, bro. The vsc is unfair, but you can’t expect to act like that and disturb the other drivers and not get penalized
Just a SUGGESTION Jarno but maybe you should try lowering the engine sounds of the game cuz it kinda makes it hard to hear your voiceover and i kinda like hearing what you have to say about the race as the race goes on..love the vids big fan
Heard the 3 place grid penalty was for the incorrect way of retiring not in the pit lane. This was said by Hayden Gullis who is a f1 esports commentator so take it with a pinch of salt. I'm not sure if Jarno is correct or Hayden but just thought some of you should know
The fact that they can give a penalty for an off track comment is ridiculous. Can't wait for the fall of F1 eSports, they can't even get people to not disconnect during a LAN event. It's honestly pathetic. WOR should do in person, LAN events, they'd kill it
F1 23 and 24 physics suck so hard, looking at the real life races and comparing to this is night and day. I wonder the day the fidelity will be indistinguishable.
