I love the premise of this video- if we follow the crowd we'll only go as far as the crowd does. Figure out your "why" and keep your eyes on the prize!

Last July I moved back in with my Dad, and got a job at a fabrication factory, we make electric poles. For the first 9 months we did mandatory 50-hour weeks which for me is pretty brutal, but they just recently opened a weekend shift and now I only work 3 days a week and get paid a full 40 hour week and it's the best thing ever. I've saved up about $30,000 and plan to stay at my job and work on my hobbies on my days off. Eventually, I plan on buying land and putting a trailer on it to live in. I also plan on purchasing a Subaru Outback and placing a bed in the back area, which I will use to work seasonal jobs on cool works and travel around in.

The biggest way we lose to the house in America is with the debt trap. The best way to avoid that is simply to avoid all debt. I am 57 years old and have never had a credit card or bank loan of any kind. I have had to live in some cheap places, and drive some beater cars, but I now own my own home, land, car and everything else. I owe nothing on anything and have money in the bank. And, no, I didn't inherit any of it. I just recognized early on what a scam the American credit system is.

This video is the most important video I've watched in many weeks. I've been saying to myself "your job is not your enemy". Watching this video has clarified to me that my job is currently a system im using on my journey to beat the system and its temporary.

Great analogy about the casino, Tim. What you also said about knowing what you want out of life is very important. When you know what the endgame is, you can create the plan. Even if two people visualize the same endgame, they each need their own road map.

Just going back to earlier videos and how you talked about living in your car. Lots of people started doing that and “society” hates that many people are choosing to not be in the rat race of home ownership. Also, more people are breaking away from the system by early retirement and financial independence or (F.I.R.E.) and the people that get their panties in a bunch over that topic is hilarious! It is simple... turn your income into business income instead of wages. Then you deduct expenses. You pay taxes on profit.

I would love to learn more about investing and everything under that umbrella! I have been meaning to start researching more on what to do with an old 401K that I have from my previous job. I know there is a penalty if you cash it out. I haven't been at a job any longer than 5 years, so the 401K doesn't have much in it. I am thinking about starting some type of Savings seperate from 401K investing. I know a little about Roth IRAs, but not a lot. It would be interesting to hear about investing options other than a 401K if someone wants to get something going not tied to one particular job. Take care Tim 💕

Hey Tim, you know that I am working on paying off my credit card debt. That is one of beat the system . I do not want to make minimum pay payments to make the creditors rich. To pay off my credit credit debts will take about 24 to 36 months.

Currently, I'm learning some basic economics and finances stuff because I live in the system, in the casino as you say (love the analogy, sir), but I dont really know how it works at a fundamental level. Its crazy when I think about. I live in the system but I dont know what Im doing. Congrats to the creators of the casino, they created a good fool system for people like me hahahahah Anyway, I'm taking my time, trying to have fun learning this stuff and not be so wrap up in the "I have to beat the casino". This is awesome! We have to play the system or we get played by it. I used to be uncomfortable with investing because I didn't like the idea of supporting a system that is so fundamentally pernicious. Then two things dawned on me. 1. By doing the things that are required for survival in the system, we reinforce the system. Whenever I earn or spend money, I am perpetuating the system. Whenever I put money in a savings account, the bank is using that money to perpetuate the system. The system is as elegantly designed as it is intrusive- it permeates our existence. Escaping the system isn't really a viable option. 2. Even if escaping the system was a feasible option, the system is so pervasive that escaping would make it difficult (if not impossible) to meet our needs- including the needs that money cannot address. Escape is probably both unrealistic and detrimental. This begs the question...If escape is impractical and playing the system is our best option to lead a more free and fulfilling lives, how do we play the system? I'm excited for this channel, my coworker got me into investing, I started with $10 compared to now $10k, in 2 years. I started slow and did my research, I put in money every month for over a year. I work 9-5, but my rent is low so I invest a lot.

What do you think happened in 2020-2022. Everybody just "lost" it back to the casino. Most people have no plan. It's not a money or job problem it's a lack of goal problem. This whole getting out of the system without any money and all these other ideas people have is a bunch of pie in the sky stuff. It ain't happening. At least not here and now. Maybe one day.

A credit score of 800 the banks will loan you money zero interest for a couple years but you got to be smart enough to pay it back on time every month and not spend an additional dime😮 all those offers they send in the mail if you spend one more dime than the original agreement that makes that agreement null and void because they start charging your interest on your new purchase and then nothing goes towards the original😂 learn how to play the game people

Yo i figured out its not so much about how much cash u have because alot of millionaires dont keep cash its about saving assets because assets turn into cash anyway and anyone in here can afford to invest its easy ... buy a bunch of stuff that ppl need from the doller store and sell them on online , your job , your area etc. , infact amazon can help u sell products where u are not spending too much time , u can invest in the stocks under cash app for a dollar and crypto , u can invest in copper coins for less the $20 and copper is very needed and silver is more money but still affordable ... the thing is to stop putting way too energy on society bull shit
