We held a tournament for Jackie Chan's forgotten Fighting Game 

Someone out there has been labbing Kung Fu Master Jackie Chan for years and is very upset they missed its biggest tournament of the millennium

As a true Jackie Chan fan, don't know how I missed this one, but damn I loved me some Jackie Chan Stuntmaster.

Thanks for spotlighting Jackie Chan FoF! Jackie teamed with Kaneko while filming his racing movie, Thunderbolt in 1994, and in turn they made this game with him. You can see Jackie with a Kaneko racing patch on his outfit in the movie. Thorston is the villain from Thunderbolt. Sam Wong was a member of JC's stunt team, I think people will remember him fighting Jackie in Police Story 3 Supercop. Sam also plays the Mysterious Lion. Yeung is played by Yeung Ching-Ching, a Shaw Brothers actress that studied under the legend Lau Kar Leung.

Well, guess I should cancel that GG: -Strive- preorder. No need with a game this advanced.

I remember playing this at my local bowling alley. Jackie's helicopter attack is by far the funniest thing I've ever seen in a fighting game haha.

Kaneko made this game! One of my favorite game devs of all time! They also made games such as Air Buster, DJ Boy, Gals Panic, and Great 1000 Miles Rally. I’m so glad that this game is getting more attention. Wish that Kaneko would make another fighting game like this.

I think Lau is based on/played by Andy Lau, a member of Jackie Chan's stunt team who went on to become pretty successful in his own right. He most notably starred in House of Flying Daggers.

In the 1 player arcade mode of this game; is "Jackie Chan with a ladder" the kof style super difficult final boss? His instant death super could be "Jackie Chan on a hovercraft" and he comes from off screen standing on a hovercraft that just runs you over. If "rumble in the bronx Jackie Chan" was in this game his introduction is him kicking his disabled cousin out of his wheelchair and picking it up to beat your ass with it. That movie is great. Dude I want a sequel to this game so bad. I want it to have various Jackie chans like the first one but all the other characters are the side characters from his movies. We could have the drunken master guy with glasses who has that one strong leg he swings around like a chicken wing, we could have the drunken master evil Australian guy wrapped in a chain, the drunken master short old hermit man with the Bladed staff from the train platform, rumble in the Bronx gang leade who can zone you out by whipping glass bottles at you, rumble in the Bronx gang member holding trash bag containing lance after he was fed through the woodchipper and his normals are him hitting you with the bag of Lance, rumble in the Bronx mean white guy in the suit (his super is obviously feeding you through a woodchipper), The roster is endless.
