We Hung a VW Bus in the Dream Garage + Build Updates! 

If I might make a suggestion: get everything in the bus cab functional, i.e. all the lights, the heater, horn, etc, and put it all on a step-down transformer so you can run it on 110V. You could even make the headlights part of the shop's lighting system.

You guys should build a walkway to the bus so you or friends could sit in it anytime. Maybe put a projection screen on the opposite wall and do a drive in.

I am going to spend a lot of time editing in that new bus!

Read a previous comment about how good your guys content is and that is literally what I came to comment. You content and videography is unmatched. Type of content, amount of content, length of videos, how often you put videos out all of it. I watch a bunch of different RU-vidrs with similar content and what you guys do and the back yard engineering, just incredible channel you guys have here. I love it keep it up!

You need to hook up the headlights and the dome light on the bus so you can turn them on and off That would be premium !

If your boiler air intake is inside, you'll be taking heated air and venting it to the outside. You're creating a negative air space that is drawing in cold air from the outside to replace the air used for the boiler. It is highly recommended for efficiency to use outdoor air for any gas appliance like that boiler.

I think in the VW Bus you should convert the headlights into some shop lights or flood lights. I've seen it done for those pieces guys have hanging on the walls in the man cave.

Just a suggestion on your intake for the boiler: with all the cutting, grinding, welding. You might want to run it outside so that you are not sucking all that crap into your new boiler. Love your content! Keep the projects coming!

The new shop already feels like the old shop. It's getting full of stuff, grinding dust everywhere, dogs running around, OSHA approved work positions and safety protocols. The space is going to make bigger projects possible and you deserve to have a warm shop. It has also elevated the work on the channel, and I mean the elevator that you installed.

I'd set up the VW bus with speakers and have a projector on the roof and a remote raise/lower screen so it could be used as a mini cinema.

Always a bitter sweet moment when channels get to this point of a new big shop, sponsored tools etc. I love it cause you guys have more capability for bigger and cooler projects but sucks because it becomes unrelatable for most that can’t afford the crazy tooling or the space. I hope you guys handle it well and Im sure you will. Mighty Car Mods and Vice Grip Garage seems to have done it well , still sometimes focusing on basic tools and budget projects as well as the no holds big projects. Either way you guys should be very proud of yourselves and I think I speak for many when I say I look forward to the future of Grind Hard Plumbing!
