To make things simpler, you should bolt a piece of 3/4 flat bar onto the hydro pedal arm, that will catch the rpm pedal arm and pull it down as you push the hydro pedal. So you don't have to use both feet to operate it. Just a suggestion. I use to have a tractor that was rigged that way.

In 1966 I bought a Two Door Isetta with the 600cc BMW engine for $100. It easily hit 40-45 MPH, but as a kid, I kept tearing out the rubber shaft connectors. Think I sold it for $150.00 and my next car was a 62 Chevy SS with a 327. Wish I still had both of those cars.

Gas Monkey, love this. project and all of you. I had two ISETTA 600s in Lancaster, CA back in the 1990s. One was nice factory original white. The other a rough red and white one. You are good crazy. Great filming and editing. You are such a welcome relief from the terrible wars in the war and politics now. Hope you all come through Santa Cruz, CA some day and get to some of our car events and/or score some of the great cars here. Capitola Mall every Saturday morning we have a group of eclectic cars that come for coffee at Starbucks about 6 am to about 11 am. 😎 Blaine Halley
