While staying at Turtle Bay here on the North Shore of Oahu for Jamie Obrien & Tina Obrien's Hawaii wedding we thought it might be fun to see if we could take a lesson at the JOB Surf Experience without anyone knowing who we were. Even though they recognized us within 10 seconds we still success infiltrated to get Jordan on a few super fun waves! Thank you for the free lesson Jamie!

When are you going to use your platform to bring attention to the genocide in Gaza? Not everyone is caught up in your war. From the days of Isaac and Ishmael, conflict has gripped these nations and these peoples. Israel will reclaim every inch of land they can, wars will continue to ensue and still the lives of many will be torn apart in religious and non religious war. It's a hard watch, but life for many goes on like nothing is happening in the Middle East. Cease fire only gives opposing sides the chance to reload. Still in the midst of it all there is mercy, may the widows and parentless be comforted. May you find peace in the midst of all this, didn't know you expected this guy to be a spokesperson for your cause.

He was stoked to hear his dad was a great guy in recovery! Also, heads us, Ben, Kelly mentions you as one of the guys who is “making it happen” in The Stoked Bloke (Barton Lynch)’s interview w/him! Saw your interview on localism, you were right on point with knowing/respect in lineup. I have been lucky enough to get to Hawaii and even while surfing on North Shore, I have not been involved with any localism. I have seen some verbal jousting, but mostly the guy getting scolded deserved it (snaking people or especially kids). Stay friendly, say hello, know the etiquette and you will be fine anywhere. By the way, I met you and Jordan on your flight back from JOB/TOB wedding. Hope to see you in the water and that your recovery goes well

as a Jersey girl who honestly didn't learn how to surf until I was 27 in Hawaii... I can confirm you're at least in a good place in good hands 😁 keep in mind you're in Hawaii the wave size... A nice 2 to 4 Hawaiian is always a pleasure for learning and regular writing especially longboarding but the Jersey people would call that 4 to 8 have fun be comfortable❤

I may have not used proper wording but yeah 2 ft I still think is good for learning.... But two to four is like safe and fun... If you're in town 😁💜
