I don't know, but I suspect that this would have been to much for Petra to handle in the final with her back problems, when she also had to do the voting. She alreafy had to sit down for the Jury voting as it was-
This was my highlight of the evening. Could've easily been a part of the grand finale. Thank you for bringing Käärijä back. There can never be enough cha cha cha!
@@gilangsetyawibawa185 That's what we're all waiting for - would be awesome if they were sat in the Royal box looking on... but we'll take just a huge ABBA tribute too
@@FinestFantasyVI lol some of you take ESC way too seriously. There's nothing to apologize for, this was made in good spirits together with Finland. Like, Tattoo has over half a billion streams for a reason. Can't say the same about most ESC winners.
A bit too many stereotypes ;), plus needless to say, we would have made a classier interval act than that (meaning the one with sauna twigs & moomins)!! 😂
@@sprakle73Maybe because the songs that are rejected in Sweden are picked up by Cyprus… The Cypriot song this year was meant to Represent Russia in 2022 and Greece in 2023… just so you see
@@hp8783what part of this is self love? They were mostly making fun of themselves and eurovision, “glimten i ögat” humor as we say. It’s not that serious 😂
@@JustBeingAwesomeyes but this is the semi. Presumably, there is some even better planned for the final. Though I’ll admit it would be pretty hard to beat Love Love Peace Peace.
Edward af Sillén created both this and "Love Love Peace Peace", "What is Eurovision?" in 2016 (and "Swedish Smörgåsbord" in 2013) as well as wroted the hosts scripts.
Petra Mede has always been my favorite ESC host. Humor on peak, the most entertaining musical numbers, and she produces so much energy on stage. I feel so bad for her after the dumpster fire that was the 2024 final.
Who or what are these..anyways..i am here for...the Party if it's Käärijä the uncrowned King who can cha cha cha me..anytime. at the Sauna..no Rules..hehehehe. Bring Nightwish and Mr. Ville Valo..then we have a real Party. But in Winter..not during Summer. Teya and Selina missed a good Opportunity last Year. 😊 Just saying.
So much fun. Sweden was the best host in years. Such good interaction with the crowd, great singalong, lovely and natural hosts. Greetings from Croatia ❤
This was the best host performance since love love peace peace. Petra Mede is the icon of eurovision, and while some people were upset about sweden's victory last year, we kinda forgive them with the great productions they give. Good job Sweden! You are the King of hosts in Eurovision!
Petra is great! But I always want to mention the scriptwriter, the director and songwriter ✨Edward af Sillén ✨ in the same breath, when people celebrate her (or Måns) hosting. He was the one created both this and "Love Love Peace Peace", "What is Eurovision?" in 2016 (and "Swedish Smörgåsbord" in 2013) as well as wroted the hosts scripts. When someone say they love Sweden hosting, a lot of that is thanks to that man!
I never enjoyed any interval act like this one..Pietra deserves a crown more than any other contestant. I wish I could vote for her :)) Love from Azerbaijan
This was AMAZING! who ever wrote this is a GENIUS and the performers did so well! I got goosebumps when I head Finland's song all of the sudden! Bravo! 👏🏻Sweden sure knows how to entertain!
Edward Af Sillén has written the interval act, and he also did that 2013 and 2016. That is why since 2013, Sweden has hosted great shows with funny acts, and that is also why Love Love Peace Peace and this interval act are amazing and extremely funny😁 Love from Sweden🇸🇪🇸🇪
HIM even wrote a Song about Salt in our Wounds. You know it maybe. Banner or not. Why Loki? Why does that have to be the sacred Timeline? Can we please cut that branch ? Please make something mischivious.😅
Petra Mede deserves a statue at the EBU headquarters because of the way she keeps creating moments we will never forget!!! She is an icon, she is a legend and she IS the moment!
I think I've watched this more than the actual performances from the participating countries 😭 I can't stop appreciating the charisma of Petra Mede, Charlotte Perrelli and Sarah Dawn Finer (Lynda Woodruff)
Käärijä is cool and all but can we talk about that FANTASTIC Ievan Polkka? Everyone who's ever listened to it has wanted it in Eurovision, and even with how short it was it felt so good to listen to after all this time!
As a huge musical nerd, this interval act really hit the spot for me! I just cannot stop watching it. Everything from the choreography over the lyrics to the oh so hilarious self irony is just perfection 👌 Also barely managed to stay in my seat when Käärijä showed up on stage 😍🥳 As much as I would have loved to see Finland win last year, this whole performance made it kind of worth it 😂🍾
Never thought I would say this as a Finn.... But after watching this show and the rest of this years esc mess, I can honestly say : I am so happy for you Sweden that you won, congratulations! It took a year but I am finally there. Keep sending whoever and keep winning. And btw I love it how progressive and witty you have gotten over the years with those old school stereotypical jokes about other countries juries.... That was really errrrm 2024... Although I loved the section of the Finnish half way show 😂 yup, that is how we would have done it! Little upset though that you claimed cold and depression as your own thing, everyone knows THAT is Finnish if anything. So, please don't be angry with us, we loved Käärijä too much. Heja Sverige!
This was incredibly fun!! Should have definitely been saved for the grand final, though. I hope we have more fun intermission acts like this in the future, too!
2:57 Oh God, 12 years ago, this lady said Azajbn instead of Azerbaijan😂Years pass, but old jokes are still in fashion. All Azerbaijan laughed tonight. Thank U ❤
I like that in 2013 Petra (and Edward af Sillen) made fun of Sweden, in 2016 they made fun of Eurovision, so of course now they had to make fun of Sweden IN Eurovision!
The way the keep clapping to käärijä for a long while even after the song was over, shows what impact this song left to Eurovision history and will be remembered for a long time.
@@demi3115 It was held in Mälmö Sweden so idont think they are in any position to virtue signal knowing their side it behind the biggest problem in the country and what group is most affected....It used to be a safe place to live, not anymore.
@@johns70 The victims scream for help, but this side wish that their voice is fully silenced like has been done countles times, and that the people who report the crime are instead reported. That is liberalism.
❤ I really liked that the Swedes joke about themselves. And I'm glad that they mentioned most of the countries in a joking way, including the Balkan countries (this man with a woman with a mustache: "twelve points goes to...") 😁 Greetings from Serbia 🇷🇸🥰
