Since you guys started this, I'm a PAOK fan. Good to see Akpom scoring again, dude was top when he used to play for us.

Putting the cherry on top here. I’m a born and raised Amsterdammer and lifelong Ajax fan and I’m glad to see Chuba on the scoring sheet in these past two games. Not only once but twice yesterday in a few minutes. I hope he starts more matches!

As a boro fan im happy to see him doing well he is also my favorite player

He has had a few personal problems since coming to the Netherlands that gave him a rough time but hopefully those are behind him and he will get a real chance to become a great player at Ajax

and he still has to get used to the Ajax game because it is different from his previous one

I think the problem is that Akpom hasn't shown he can perform when the opponent is still playing with 10 defenders (yet). He has scored three times in 2 matches while being subbed in quite late, yes, but he played while the opponent was forced to try and score, which gave Akpom more space to work with. Brobbey hasn't had that same amount of space quite as much. So it's a little unfair to compare the two right now. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see more Akpom and less Brobbey (not a big fans for multiple reasons), but I can see why a coach might be apprehensive to bench a starter for someone who has only scored when playing vs teams that were no longer playing with 10 defenders and a keeper. I do hope Akpom is given more time and can earn a starter role ahead of Brobbey though ;)

I think we need vos to start because taylor needs to improve his positioning in defence and play more aggresive and a midfielder like vos is exactly what we need right now imo

@@dnmd5222i saw Martha start a sprint twice where Taylor didn’t send him long and both those times the crowd started booing. Taylor was scared to make risky offensive passes.

Onzin. Je speelt tegen Heerenveen thuis en hebt heel veel mazzel. Zal niet lang duren voor Ajax weer potjes gaat verliezen en dan zullen de aankopen weer afgebrand worden...

@@Brandon-kg3pl Valt wel mee. Heerenveen had zoveel kansen, Ajax was gewoon net iets effectiever. Of Ajax echt vooruitgang heeft geboekt gaan we donderdag zien tegen een serieuze tegenstander.

it is Ajax TV. They do not 'complain' about their own faults and put goals into heaven. A bit of realistic commentation would be nice...

@@danoshollanda2708 Natuurlijk is dat zo, maar uiteindelijk begint het spel goed voor hen te gaan, tenminste in de aanval, de verdediging moet uiteraard coherenter zijn, want er valt nog veel te verbeteren, net als de 2e linie, maar het begint eindelijk ergens op lijken en een bepaalde vorm aannemen :)

@@danoshollanda2708 Maar we verloren een doelpunt, en daarna waren er in de 2e helft een paar gekke situaties, al ben ik blij dat ze wonnen en die 4 doelpunten scoorden. Het verdedigende spel moet in de loop van de tijd verbeteren omdat de jongens beter op elkaar zullen zijn afgestemd.

Dunno if you've noticed but Ajax's defense was leaky as it gets in this match (as well as all the other games this season). Hato is one of the reasons for that. Don't think he belongs in Eredivisie, yet anyway.

This was the same againts PSV, where ajax did really compete, but ended up losing 5-2

Very true but it's a good foundation van't Schip wants to build after the shambles that have come before. The players are also quite low on confidence, which in football means a lot in terms of how teams play in games.

Only first half they compete, second half they played very bad against PSV like they did the whole season. They missed a lot of chances. This match Heerenveen missed chances, but so did Ajax plus they had a goal stolen from then. Also the strikers of Heerenveen aren't that great, so they miss chances more often than Ajax usually. Also Heerenveens only goal was a beautifull header that player will never score again in his life. I know Ajax is ranked very low in the competition but a lot of people made very poor decisions for the club that result in very poor results. Those problems are almost fixed in the direction and the coach is just replaced and they play waaaay better now. They will be serious competitors for all clubs in the Eredivisie very soon. If you take all that in account it would had been 7-3 for Ajax against Heerenveen. I don't think it is that misleading.

Not really. The ajax I know wins 4 or 5 - 0 and become champions. I'm an ajacied since 1973. And never ever they played so bad as this season. But there is hope.
