The activist in the video has made clear to us that they were distracted and hadn’t heard the speaker’s comments when they applauded generally with the crowd. The speaker at the event is not affiliated with Amnesty and we strongly oppose violence and any kind of hateful speech ======= But you can clap it.

I read today somewhere that loads of prisoners being released early basically are being released with nowhere to go....so they are homeless and as such they are fast being arrested and taken back into custody because they do not have the support to be able to manage...what a complete mess.
Here in the North East its gone on for years. Worked in the Ambulance service for 8 years. Regularly picked up a 'frequent flyer' Alcoholic lovely guy harmless but homeless, and getting injured while drunk. Every December committed a couple of low level crimes, shoplifting, damage to property, etc so he could get locked up for Christmas for a few weeks. Christmas dinner and a bed and board.
