And then he proceeded to not notice that Slowking got rid of the spikes, followed by neither of them remarking that Abomasnow and Darkrai did not get poisoned.
As a reminder in the future, Teraing an ice type into a different type, removes Snow's buff to that pokemon (same applies to Sand and Ground and Rock types). Like wise tera into Ice does give the buff, same with Sand and Ground and Rock types
A fun suggestion if you accidentally lie about 2 Pokemon your opponent should get to switch their choice. This adds a fun element! But regardless, I LOVED the video! Thanks for making such enjoyable content! :D
Or choose the ability for the Mon :) this time it was mor accidental and its not really bad since the picks are mostly random anyways... buuut I did like that Tobean realised afterwards and excused himself, that made me happy for whatever reason :)
Rich thought Darkrai was a ghost type (despite literally having Dark in its name) and Tobin said Primal Dialga for Origin Dialga (even though they are two different things and the former is a fan made idea). I'd say that is a pretty even playing field for these two 😅 Edit: never mind, Tobin couldn't figure out Skrelp's typing, which leads me to think that there was no prep or research going into this, instead just going off of memory and falling back on a reliable source for the right info, and they probably just didn't use it much 😂😂
@@daybloom67studios13 ok, sorry. I didn't consider that because I don't really consider Spin-offs to be canonical parts of the franchise. I've also heard barely anything about it
I mean, to be fair, it feels like a criminal offense in my opinion that Darkrai isn't a dark ghost type, so maybe Rich got confused, and that's what he thought it was and went with the ghost typing rather than just forgetting its a dark type altogether
@@earthbloodelf5289 he could have went with the obvious but instead assumed the ghost typing by just looking at it. I could further blame Rich, but ofc he's a Pokémon amateur (and it's moreso Game Freak's fault)
Battle Idea: The Vowel Language Battle - Use the 3 starter method for picking mons, random abilities and moves, 3 skips each - Trainer 1 Reveal the Pokemon names, but only the vowels in the name - Trainer 2 picks any consonants, any that may appear in the above mons names is revealed (Wheel of Fortune style) - Trainer 2 then makes a guess and picks there choice, then all Pokemon are revealed. If they guess right, they may choose any of the choices for themselves OR get a free skip if they are all trash - If Trainer 2 guessed wrong, Trainer 1 picks which of the 3 Pokemon is going on Trainer 2 team, unless a skip is used. - Consonants picked are reset each round, unless you guessed right, then it carriers over to all future rounds. This stacks
Tobin: I can't get rid of them toxic spikes, now... Galarian Slowking: Are u sure about that?? Maybe I can help but I am not gonna do it until u ask politely... "With Pretty Please"...
Psychic, Dark, and Steel. The latter are explicitly because of Umbreon and Skarmory were my faves from Gen 2 back in the day. The former is because Gen 1 Mewtwo. Were I any less ancient, it'd probably be dragon or fairy or something.
RaidAwayPlus mentioned with Battle Bond " I got that and I assigned that to him(greninja)", so I'm wondering what the rules are. In live let's fights you basically "assign" mon and randomize ability to it(once or twice etc depending on the rules). With that comment I think he randomized 6 abilities and assigned them to best fit the 6 mons. Sure these are not serious battles, but I'm curious about the rules.
Toben does not know his pokemon well all three of these are great sorry dragalge is not great also calling galar slowking mid it's not mid, man needs to hard reassess his pokemon
dragalge is literally soo good! is is a tank specially and gets access to adaptability which with his typings is soooo good since not much resists. Also with terrastilizing it can hit even harder!
