The leaves produce dew from condensation and when it warms up the water evaporates up to the tarp and collects to the center and drips onto the coconut. Thats why you need leaves.

Just a quick tip, when you've got a bunch of meat raw and cooked stack on each other, you can cycle through which one in ur inventory though i dont remember the keys.

if you walk behind the big crabs ( not even sneaky) with out then seeing you can hit them and they won’t run for a sec and when they do they run and fear and won’t hit back edit - the only way i’ve seen to kill a boar/pig is my brother who used like 30 arrows and for the water collector put the palm leafs and the water will be collected from it also for the raft the more word bunch’s the more cover it will be over the water there for Anti-flip hope i could help the epic rerun :) one more edit: watch out many things will poison you, such as the purple star fish things, the red/white striped fish with many fins (their needles) and snakes sooo just stick to the real life real if is colorful don’t fuck with it cause nature ain’t need to hind it with camouflage

Should have placed the box on the raft and left it there, kept the motor parts all at the first island you were on. Next you can benture back to the very first island to recover all the stuff you left behind

To craft using barrels and tires you need to physically drag them with you ( too big to pick up ) and look at them when you open the craft menu

It's like watching a TV show that I never want to end. This is the second time I watched it and I still split a gut laughing.. This is the best Duo since Frankie and SADA... Ohh far as the water .... When the palm tree leaves dry out the canopy catches the evaporation in witch you get water

Hey @IGP If its still the same way like it was when I played with someone then with the campfire bugging out the person who can't see the campfire will always see it as raw. But they can still eat it even though their character does the bad food sounds. So It should just be a bug, hopefully you see this and hopefully this helps! Thanks for the content Edit: to clarify, the food is still good to eat as long as one of you see cooked food. Just ignore the noises your character makes and you shouldn't receive any negative status effects

COoked and uncooked meat are both under the same icon in your menu..its probably gonna be fixed eventually but at the moment you cant tell if what you are looking at is cooked or not from the menu so the safe thing to do is to cook everything in your inventory so that you know they are all good to eat :)

I know sharks are commonly misconstrued as scary and vicious but I found out recently that for shits and giggles sharks will actually find a jelly fish and just push it in the water with their noses like a kid kicking a soccer ball down the street

ohhhhh i understand how the water coletion works. U need the palm tree leaf under there because the way the water coletion works is that the water inside the leaf slowley evaporetes as the leaf dries, then the water vampor gets couth on the blue tarp and condenses and them falls on the little container under it. Thats also way it works when its not raining

So palm fronds and fibrous leaves release water vapour as they dry out.. the plastic tarp is supposed to catch the vapour as condensation and then drips into a catchment container..

The engine needs fuel. Aaand you need potatoes for that but they are so damn rare that you need your own farm. There's usually just one or two potatoes on every few islands. I wouldn't bother with that right now. You have way bigger problems xD But you're learning and I appreciate you not checking the Wiki and tutorials.

If I remember correctly then You can have more then 1 crate in your inventory, You don't have to go up and down all the time.. and pick up all barrels tires and yellow things you can. Helps keeping your raft over water if it gets to heavy. Also. Jule shelf's on the raft to put crates on.

As a survial expert. That design wouldn't work that way. That design is a rain catcher. The design the developer intend would require digging a hole so the moisture can't escape.
