I love it! I'm slowly turning my 1930's era home back as well. Better life in many ways.

A most stylish and discerning couple. Lovely house and fittings with much attention to detail such as the light switches, cooker and of course the gramophone. The music certainly enhances the period setting. A very interesting report - glad you dressed for the occasion.

What an inspiring couple.

I listened to 1930s music since I was a teenager, but afraid of the fragility of shellac I knew deep down I wouldn't have physical copies of the songs, until I found an alternative that still felt life-changing: LP vinyl records and CDs featuring the *original* songs. I always loved vintage waistcoats, flat caps and black and white shoes like those you wore.

This is life. Beautiful life.

What a marvelous couple!! My dream is to have my house filled with vintage things. I do love the 1930s era all the way to the 1970s. In other words much like the couple in the video I want my house to be like a step back in time.

Great stuff, Jonathan. I could quite happily live in that house. I was also pleased to see that their gramophone looked like it was from the 1930s as well, not one of those dreadful fake horn gramophones that people seem to want these days. (I'm just going my the soundbox design).

Jonathan, that's amazing! I had no idea that this was what you did for a living, and what a perfect piece for you to get your teeth into. Great couple, with a perfectly understandable passion. The downside is that when you go outdoors, you're back into the wretched 2020s again!

Fantastic story. Very well put together and presented. I particularly liked the instant change of clothes - bet that took a bit of effort to get right. As it was the change was seamless. Interesting couple. When growing up in the days before you tube and the internet I used to think I was the only person of my age who had an interest in such things. Was the music in this piece from your own collection? How did the piece come about as I've always wondered how this kind of story gets picked up.

I would love to do this just to take me away from this horrible modern difficult world
