On our last vacation we lost 18 pounds while cruising the British Isles in England. We were on a 17 day trip from Amsterdam to England and we both lost weight. Gerry lost 6 pounds and Iramis lost 12 pounds. This was done by walking a minimum of 10,000 steps on a daily basis and eating healthier choices. We did our best to walk to every attraction and we also walked around the ship and took the stairs.
Losing weight on vacation is easier for some as the activity level is much higher than when we are at home. The way we do fail to loose weight and gain it, is by eating and drinking unhealthy food. This makes us come back home bloated and depressed.
On your next cruise trip, skip the buffet lines and start walking. You might be happily surprised when your clothes fit better on your return home.
