Great to see guys still building choppers in that old school over the top 70's style with a modern twist. Bad ass and stone cold cool!!! I'd be diggin' on them at a bike show, and I'd bet most other guys would be too! And good tunes, the Japanese gotta have something to rock out to too... Throw a leg over and ride on!
This catches a kind of cool 70's over the top spirit that has been long gone here. I grew up in Wisconsin and just caught the end of the custom bike MC phenomenon, around 72-74. Like the song too, reminds me a bit of the Deep Purple energy.
Nice choppers my brother. Forget some of the stupid comments placed in here......just hit the road and keep riding. I enjoyed the video and appreciate your dedication in building these iron horses.
I like it but if I can't see over the handle bars it just added even more risk to an already dangerous beautiful, relaxing and the best way to travel way of transportation.
This sort of reminds me of the long SoCal styled machines of the early 1970s. This machines are reminiscent of the bikes built by Sugar Bear, Dick Allen, Freddie Hernandez, Denver's Choppers, et al. If the frame/fork geometry is right, and the fork is well-built from quality materials (and workmanship), there won't be any problems with handling or structural integrity. I've built and ridden a few long bikes on some of the worst roads in America. I live in the mid-West (sadly).
The screw covers/caps on the fork of the red one - safety first :D! WERNER is a japanese guy! Look at WERNER's Horex! Very cool machines you have, men!
The super-long forks are reminiscent of the early 1970s bikes from Denvers Choppers and the SoCal Bay Area style from the early 1970s. Yeah, kinda crazy, man, but Sugar Bear still builds super-long springer forks (that are quality made and handle well). I prefer the NorCal style (shorter forks, no frame down-tube stretch and little or no rake).
Just subscribed. I usually build my own choppers but will have the next one shipped from you guys in Japan as soon as I find a way to make it a safe business transaction. Will be in touch- Thanks
