I have an '03 3.0L V6 Galant and let me tell you, it's a champion! Running strong at 201,000 miles! I've had two Galants and to this day have been the best cars I have ever owned. Forever in love with this car!
Got my Galant in Feb. Its silver with beige leather and a v6 16v 163 hp machine. The whole car is in top condition and it makes so much fun driving with it. Got this from an old man who bought this car in 1997 from a rich customer (he is a car mechanic) who bought it for 60.000 $ new. As he saw this car he was instantly in love with it and so he scratched all his money together to afford this car (43.000$). Now, in 2014, he put his car on Ebay and I was looking for a new one. I didn't know the Mitsubishi Galant, but when I was scrolling through Ebay, it was love on the first sight! I instantly called the owner and we met the day after. He was selling the car for 1750$ and I thought he wanted to trick me. When I asked him, why he was selling this car for this low price he did nothing but looking me straight in the eyes. Tears appeared on his face and he told me this story. After that he said, he just want to make someone as happy with his car as he was. And when he saw me getting out of my car and inspecting the Galant he knew I was the right person to be. I can call this car my own know and it is so damn awesome to have such a beloved car! Oh and btw: He bought a Mercedes S after all that happend. True Story.
I have a 2001 Mitsubishi Galant. It has currently 203,550 Miles on it and is a blessing. Never any serious problems just routine maintenance had it since it was a baby fresh off the showroom floor with extra clear coat for the shine. (Patriot Red)
I used to own a 3.0L V6 2001 galant. She was amazing. Best first car. Really wish it was a vr4 but hey ain't complaining. Watching his vid makes my heart break. It was such an amazing vehicle with crazy speed. Totally understated if you ask me ❤️

Mitsubishi mainly faced back to Japanese military resources. Such as Military cars, airplanes and tons more. That's why they are eliminated some models of the cars end of 2012. Galant is dead already. We all wish they are still here. Specially, spyder, galants
Amazing car. I love Galant. Have had two, one black sedan 2.0L and one ice blue wagon 2.5L v6. The v6-engine was excellent, and it sounded just perfect. I sold it though, but I'm definately gonna buy Galant again. Wanted bigger engine, so I just bought a Sigma with 3.0 v6 (205 hp) - love it!
One of the best car i ever had, one on most beautifu. I have one for 6 years and I would not exchange it for another one... until rust eats it at all :P
Absolutely love this car. I own several versions of the galant. I really wish I could find the wagon version for sale. Currently located in Colorado now *hint I got money to buy :)*
I bought myself a car about 3 years ago, 2001 2.0(4G63) version Elegance. Also I have a problem with rust but I love this car and never sell. Soon goes to painter :)
I had a GDI. Was my first car. Loved it. So i sold it and bought a VR-4. There truly is no comparison man. And as for fuel economy, it does use more gas. But it all depends on your right foot.
был когда то такой, 1.8 мотор 140 сил, чистый японец. мотор конечно гавно редкостное, кто знает, тот поймет, но тачку в плане внешности и салона до сих пор вспоминаю с теплотой. наверно еще с тех времен слабость к галантам проявляется до сих пор, хотя давно уже езжу на хонде
***** Cогласен, но 2.5 с турбонадувом, куда надежнее. Езжу уже на нем 9 лет, проблем минимум, но я ухаживаю за машиной. Замена масла каждые 3-3.5тыс км. Бенз только 98 не меньше, но и машина эта вторая, так сказать выходного дня, а так езжу на деревянной каролке 2000 года. Главное любовь к машине, и бережо эксплуатировать! Удачи на дорогах"!
