When my gdaughter was born, I created an email address and would send a message to it when we spent the day together with my thoughts and the heartwarming, fun, milestone moments we had, including photos. When she is older it will be a treasure for her to read about her granny and all the love they shared as she was growing up. When her parents allow her to have an email address, I will give her access to it. It is awesome that you will have video of August growing up. If I had your talent, I would have been creating a documentary of her life.
He will love to see it before you know it! It isn't long before they start asking where babies come from 🥰 he will feel so loved watching this and hearing those wonderful words about him.
Not sure what made me cry the most: him holding on to dad’s finger after birth, meeting Boone, or the smile from Dave carrying August in his car seat out to the car! What an adorable family 😂

Absolutely beautiful! I cried when Tasha said, “ he’s so smart, he’s got this. “ I am a 70 year old Mom with two children and two grandchildren. I love them all more than I could ever express. I’m a nurse of 30 years and don’t get emotional much at humans (animals absolutely) but this birth story was so calm and beautiful. Dave checking on mommy just enough but not too much was perfect. Then the little man holding Daddy’s finger two hours old. Tasha you were a rock star thru the whole labor delivery process and looked beautiful every minute. The Miracle of Birth. Really beautiful. Tasha did a great job. It is so emotional and so exhausting. She looked like a million bucks through her labor. Thanks for being willing to share it with us. This brought me back to the day we introduced our Golden retriever to our son, 29 years ago. Gotta love big brother Boone. Baby Auggie is a precious little doll. Love those newborn sounds.

He looks so aware and mature already. He's darling and his name is beautiful. Tough not to tear up watching. you two realize how deep love really can be. And besides baby knowing what to do I think trusting that a mom's body knows what to do too can be of comfort.

Congratulations!! 💙 I am a grandma of 9 amazing little grands!! But when I was in your stage of life, I always talked to my babies during labor!! Regardless of how many other people are in the room, it literally comes down to mommy & baby!! After experiencing how intensely painful giving birth is, it is so amazing that we do it again & again!! Because the joy of parenthood far out weights the pain of childbirth!! I have been following Dave for about 4 years now for the Bachelor content, but as a mother & grandmother, it has been really fun to watch your personal journey!!
