One last comment: While watching your necessarily long & involved introduction, I realized I hadn't seen any kind of break or interruption of filming throughout. Your monologue was clearly being composed as it was being said. Perfectly lucid, professionally organized, & with the feel you were talking just to me, what you did is incredibly difficult to do at all, let alone well - and you did it great.
@@doratiscareno5856 Plenty of painters use a razor blade-like tool to scrape off the paint on windows. If you don't let it dry too well, paint is pretty easily removed this way. I've painted windows & doors using this removal method many times myself.
I wouldn't have been brave enough to go after that paneling with the cement mix. so good to see Joel again. Haven't seen his happy, smiling face in a long time
I had been wondering when we'd get a feature on the greenhouse part of your home. Every since you first mentioned it, my brain whirred with the possibilities. I think you've exceeded yourself again 💚
ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! You just keep raising the bar. You would have never known this was paneling. I just can't stop staring...Ive watched it 3 times already. What an incredible space. This space truly takes you to another place and time. Nailed it!💋
Feels like you're being transported to a place where beauty and grace abound. A place of prayer, silent reflection and mad moments of creativity over take you. What words cannot express the feeling it gives you brings joy just looking at it. Thanks for sharing I have goosebumps now it causes my decorating ideas to soar........
Of all the practical beauty you've created at the farmhouse, this is, to me, the most impressive accomplishment yet. As I watched it all come together, I marveled at what I saw. Your fearlessness when it comes to color, the faux brick wall you somehow turned into an artistic masterpiece, the full fledged comfort & beauty of the room once completed, & I could go on & on. It's truly a magnificent accomplishment that nearly brought me to tears. Honestly. I know you're thrilled with how it turned out - and you should be.
It so very, very beautiful Angela. I’m trying really hard (and failing😂) to not be overwhelmed with envy😬. No room in my house gets enough light to keep even a fern alive 😂.. Our local nursery has a houseplant orangerie and the sense of peace to feel when you walk in, is tangible, so I know how yours must greet you. You have done and amazing job. It’s completely lovely. 💚
The little boy ( forgetting his name, sorry) really makes me smile. He is such a cutie pie and such a good helper. I love the pride he has in his voice when removing the trim!
You always leave me happy but also a little sad. All because I can feel the serenity and a wish for a place like that for me. Thank you so much for sharing this.
Robin, I used to feel the same way. I waited, dreamed, prayed for a small acreage for our family and it finally came 2 years ago! Sadly our children never got to live here but now they come with our grandchildren. 💖 We've been married for almost 45 years! We now have the house (it's an earth-sheltered home; unique and we love it) and 2 acres of our dreams...even MORE than we ever dreamed of. Hang in there...your place may some day come to you too! 🥰
The house was just waiting for a family to fill it with love and make it a home. You worked your magic, Angela, and it's lovely. Joel is a jewel and I would say a fine carpenter. ❤
Yay, Joel! I know he doesn’t love being on here, but I would seriously love some pointing tips and tricks from him! I’m such a messy painter that tends to glop things on.
Sister Girl! You have completely outdone yourself here!! It’s magical and OH SO EUROPEAN!! I am in LOOOOVE with this space. It is RIGHT up my alley. It’s now my favorite room in your house….the kitchen has to take recede to 2nd place. You nailed it!! ❤️ 🪴 ☀️ 🧱 🌺 📚 🎨
Oh WOW! I love everything about this conservatory space! You did a wonderful job on making the brick paneling look real and authentic, and I'm glad you used that green trim which makes the space even more beautiful! Bravo Angela!!!!
Your son is precious and Joel is a treasure! The space is beautiful. I'm fortunate to have grown up in New Orleans where inspiration is around every corner. I'm so glad you found your inspiration there and shared it with us.
This is one of the loveliest spaces I have ever seen. This green house seems like it was always meant to be (It just had to wait for the perfect timing)--You're collections, vintage finds, and handmade items that you've had for many years seem to have been waiting for this very place to stay. You, Joel, and your helpers have created a beautiful, lush masterpiece that I know will bring you all much joy 💚
Oh Angela, this conservatory is spectacular! I’m so thankful your family all pitched in to make such a sanctuary! May you be blessed with new & wonderful ideas & refreshment of Spirit every day for many years to come! Your channel is wonderful & seeing all these antiques is so comforting! God bless you♥️
The little army guy touched my heart...when my little grandchildren leave I can find army guys in some of the strangest little places. Always gives me a smile.
I'm envious! What a lovely space. All of your children are amazing and beautiful, but your youngest is so sweet- "for you Mom" just has my heart! He reminds me of my own youngest who was very much the same. We would take walks and he would insist on picking me flowers to put in my hair.
Stunning is the only word that comes close to describing your transformation of this space. The way you take snippets of things you like/places you've been and bring it all together to create a literal new world for yourself, it's not just a room it's a feast for the senses! This is your art form, talent and your gift. And then the class you exhibit by being humble, grateful and state the blessing this home is to you and your family... This is why you are inspiring. Awesome work by you and the entire family.
Angela, I was fortunate to live in New Orleans , your creation is not only magical but so authentic ❤️🌟❤️, your children are so blessed to have parents that follow and create their dreams. Bravo 👏❤️👏❤️👏
Fabulous execution of your vision! Thanks so much for showing the work in getting it there. Wow, the distressing of the brick panels was so successful, and inspired! An enviable space now.
I live close enough to New Orleans to day trip there. I lived there for a couple of years and learned to love it. The art and antiques are in abundance there and it is so much fun to shop there. No other place is like it.
Oh Angela, Wow..just WOW!! Faux stone finish is my plan for the unfinished side of our basement someday. I’ll need the correct lighting to encourage plant growth. Thanks for additional inspiration!! You nailed it (literally) with the brick; all these urns are making me swoon. 😊 All the best, Julie 🌷
The MOST delightful video you have done yet in my opinion! You have taken something hard, a N Winter, and made a way to not just survive but thrive. Also, you captured the essence of N’Orleans so well. I too, stayed in a hotel there with a lovely old brick courtyard with flags and fountains. How many women will tackle their space to make it lovely just because of your inspiration? God Bless you & Joel.
Hi Angela, Just a quick note to let you know that your channel is a bit of a peaceful haven for me. I did join the “Old World Society” and received my first magazine and loved it. I don’t do the other classes because my life is different than most: my 44 year old daughter (Amy) was born with spina bifida and has many medical issues. She is now in between kidney surgeries . Bless her heart… God gives us strength day by day. Back to your channel and magazine… you inspire me, give me motivation to keep on keeping on with decorating and trying to make my home peaceful. God bless you and your lovely family.
You guys did an amazing job! It looks beautiful! I loved the little army dude hanging out in the planter, whenever I find those random toys in unexpected places it makes me laugh.
That was well worth the wait! What a gorgeous space to have right outside your kitchen door. It is such an inspiration to see the transformation you all were able to pull off. My goodness 😍
That is it! You were the right person with a vision🌟 You are so talented in a multitude of ways. I’m obsessed with your home. You are one lady tht is full of energy, ideas, able to visualize, and a great mom , entrepreneur , teacher, wife! I wanna come back as Angela😄 I need a do-over 🤣🥰♥️You ARE blessed, but so nice to hear you say and feel it ✨👏🏼👏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 A very deserving family🥰
this is absolutely magnificent!!!!! it is indeed a labor of love. i can see the thought, intentionality, the years of collections to fill this space with all of your beautiful treasures...no words. what a gift to yourself and your family. you must feel immensely proud and a tremendous sense of satisfaction with what you all have accomplished .
Well Done! I love it so much. I made a trip to New Orleans a few yrs back. Loved it so much. My grand daughter (13) wants a home in the French Quarter Style.
Such a beautiful space in your home. Love it. I am in awe as in Saskatchewan most days are with snow and to have such a space for house plants is a dream. Enjoy. 🪴🌱🌿🌺
Truly one of the most inspiring transformations I have ever seen......And you did it on a budget! I am so, so inspired to try to create something like this in my home...the wheels are turning...Thank You beautiful lady.

Wow!!! You did an amazing job on this! A true artist! May you and your family always see the blessings that you have been given, as you do at this moment.
Wow! You and your family have done a great job. It looks so relaxing and you transported me to New Orleans. Maybe you should just leave your outdoor plants inside they make the place look so magical! Now you can get more outdoor plants. Love it! great job!
Oh my Ang...how magical! If your art teacher could only see you now. The great artist that you always were. Thank you for sharing your talents and inspiring so many!!! My heart is full...😘💕
