I’ve been thinking recently that my favorite makers on RU-vid are women, in large part because of you two, and I’ve been trying to figure out why. And I think it’s because of stuff like this. As a guy I appreciate the male makers, but I find myself in similar trains of thought as them. With both of you however, there’s just a way of seeing the world that I’ll never quite tap into in the same way and that I find super valuable. Thanks for broadening my perspective.

Harhar. That was really a lot of fun. Sponge foam wears quickly, loosing elasticity. Make a flat "Z" spring instead. Yes, the kind used in ammo magazines. Works better then coil springs.

Can I just say, women are amazing and never get the credit they deserve. The creativity, humour, positivity, resilience, and strength I see in these two honestly makes me envious. But it also makes me proud. I have a mother and a sister and I think they are so strong and inspiring. And these two women are doing the same for so many people. In an airsoft gun magazine there is a small lever with which you can pull the spring (foam) down. That way, the magazine can easily be loaded. If this is a serious contraption that is actually used, I would really recommend using this.

Laura, you had He-Man? Me too! His "normal" name is Adam. I had a Skeletor too, but my dad literally broke its head off. I was like 4 years old. Not the fondest memory i have of my dad but by the power of gray-scale [thank you SAM] we worked out our differences.. only took 33 years haha Things are good between us now. You reminded me that he reminded me that it's my grandfather's birthday tomorrow. I'll ring him in a few and wish him a happy bday 🥳
