HUGE shout out to SIRT centre at Pinewood Studios Toronto for hosting us at their studio for this shoot. This was our first time filming virtual production on an LED volume and it went amazing. We were so happy that we could finally shoot a short film on virtual production. We hope you enjoyed our version of a production vlog!
All of our virtual production environments used in this video were made in Unreal Engine. In summary, filming virtual production at Pinewood Studios on SIRT's stage was such a pleasure, and we're so glad we could experience it as a team.
Virtual Production produces in camera VFX using a virtual screen, in our case an LED volume, and props in front of the camera to create a realistic-looking shot. We had a ton of help in every area of this shoot, from LED volume expertise to set design masterminds. All are linked below.
